Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Kunai

"Glug, glug, glug..."

After finishing his drink, Kano wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.

"There's no need to talk about these things."

The man choked for a moment, then thought for a moment before asking directly, "I saw that the ships from the Headquarters have been leaving the port one after another. So you didn't choose to transfer to the Headquarters, right?"

Kano replied, "After this, I'll be going back to the West Blue Branch. I'm not going to the Headquarters."

"Is that so?"

The man nodded his head.

After saying a few more words, he turned around and left.

Kano thought maybe the guy wanted to join the headquarters, too.

However, whether this was to join the elite class or just to reach the Grand Line remained unknown.

Kano didn't think much about it.

After eating and drinking his fill, he headed to the forge on the commercial street.

He still had many things to deal with.

Last night, he'd contacted Dragon through a Den-Den Mushi and asked him to wait three more days.

After the gold treasure chest had revealed the [Flying Thunder God Technique] from the Naruto world, implementing many of his plans became much easier.

Using his physical stamina instead of chakra, he could form spatial coordinates that fell on objects or human bodies to achieve instantaneous movement through space.

It wasn't clear what the principle was, but when the power of another world appeared in this one, those were the rules.

The coordinates could even move short distances and attach to enemies.

In his memories of the Naruto world, after Minato died, the coordinates left on Obito hadn't dissipated.

Not until he'd become the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki had the coordinates been eliminated. Perhaps because he became akin to a god in that world.

It wasn't yet known whether the power of Haki could erase these coordinates.

After all, the coordinates used based on physical stamina were similar to Devil Fruit abilities.

And Haki could break a Devil Fruit's ability.

Soon, Kano, wearing a cloak and mask, arrived at the place where he'd commissioned the kunais before.

"This is the first time I've seen a weapon of this style. The three-pronged design lets you block an opponent's weapon, but an inch shorter is an inch more dangerous. Such a short weapon looks like a dart, no matter how you look at it."

The forger of special weapons was a middle-aged man.

Although he didn't have high-level forging skills, he'd been making farm tools and other items in Loguetown for a long time.

Two days ago, Kano had spent some money asking him to rush the creation of three special kunai before today.

Kano took the finished product, examined it, and tossed it in the air.

Sure enough, something made by a farm tool blacksmith from the East Blue obviously didn't meet the standards of a ninja tool.

At the very least, the quality of this thing wasn't very good.

But... it would still serve his purpose.

At that moment, something seemed to flow within his body. Black fluid formed through his palm, flowing from his hand to the handle of the special kunai.

A curse seal formed by two square characters appeared and then solidified.

In his mind, Kano could clearly perceive the coordinates of this space.

After consuming his physical stamina, he could reach those coordinates.

"Um... I promised that if they were made by today, I'd pay twenty thousand Berries."

Kano put them away, then took out a roll of money and tossed it over. No more, no less, exactly twenty thousand Berries.

"The transaction is complete."

Kano paused as he turned to leave, then looked back at the boss, who was still counting money.

"Loguetown is near the Reverse Mountain, and the Navy branch has long kept records of you making weapons for pirates. Think about yourself more than benefits..."

The ambiguous words made the middle-aged man pause in counting his money. He froze for a moment.

Had the Navy of the Loguetown branch noticed him? How was that possible…

There were so many weapon shops in this town, and selling weapons to pirates was basically a necessity for these shops to survive.

How could they be targeting him alone?

For a moment, the middle-aged man's pupils widened, and he quickly turned around and started packing his things. He wanted to run away immediately.

Kano smiled when he saw this and left.

A few days later.

In the basement of the grocery store, after dismissing his shadow clone, Kano arrived.

"Well? It's not easy to find good wine here."

Kano sat down across from Dragon.

Dragon replied, "The wine is prepared for you. I heard you've visited the better taverns in Loguetown. This is wine from the South Blue. You can try it."

Kano nodded.

"Those visits were just a cover. In addition, I made you wait three days because there's indeed something important that needs to be handed over to you."

Three special kunai were taken out and placed on the table.

Dragon picked them up and examined them, focusing on the two square characters on the handles.

"Is this a weapon?"

Dragon looked confused, because if these were only three strange-looking weapons, they wouldn't be worth waiting here for three more days.

The previous book, given to him, had benefited him tremendously after thoroughly absorbing the scattered knowledge within it.

In this case, he hadn't hesitated to wait three more days if there was something similar.

During that time, the entire Loguetown had been under search by the Navy and the World Government.

But now...

"They aren't intended to be weapons."

Kano explained, "The two characters above are a kind of spatial coordinate. I hope you can help me produce weapons of this style. At the same time, I want you to take these three with you."

Spatial coordinates?

Dragon studied them. "The Devil Fruit you ate has many ways of manifesting its abilities."

Kano smiled.

"And I can travel back and forth between the various coordinates, and... carry certain items, or people, within the upper limit of my physical stamina."

As soon as those words fell, Dragon froze in place.

Able to carry items or people...

Those two points greatly enhanced the strategic significance of this ability instantly.

He knew very well that the world was divided into four seas and the Grand Line by the Red Line and the Calm Belt.

Therefore, it was extremely troublesome for the Revolutionary Army's supplies to travel back and forth across the four seas.

Whether using the Navy's special passage or entering the Grand Line through Reverse Mountain, it was a gamble every time.

Why hadn't a great pirate like Golden Lion Shiki been executed when he was arrested after breaking into the Navy Headquarters alone not long ago? The reason was that the Navy didn't want the special mobility ability of the Float-Float Fruit to appear on the sea again.

"Boom!"

Dragon slammed his hands on the table and stood up directly. "Kano… Come with me. As you said, your position is similar to mine. Now it's not just ideas. The future of the Revolutionary Army needs you."

"As long as you have these abilities, there will definitely be a voice of the Revolutionary Army in the world's future, and no one will be able to ignore it."
