Chapter 92 - Chapter 90. Face the God of Foehn.

To the Hunters, fire was a symbol of purity and justice.

Hunters ignited a mixture of blood and oil, using the blazing and pure high temperature to incinerate all monsters and demons—except for those water-soaked fish-men by the sea, most monsters were hairy and flammable.

But today, burning evil appeared before Goki.

"Do you see, Pasha! You are dead, but I am alive! Your kingdom has fallen, just like all the nations in the wind and sand—but I remain!"

A voice as loud as a mountain's roar and a sea's surge erupted over the Rainforest, like a grand explosion.

Although its original physical form was only an arm slightly thicker than an Aegir person's, and a greatsword nearly two meters long, a giant forged of flames, almost twenty meters tall, quickly extended and formed from that arm, using it as an origin point.

It was not like the unstable flame giant Goki and Skadi encountered on the Sargon border.

This giant was larger, more blazing, and showed no tendency towards self-destruction or collapse.

With each breath, the giant continuously drew up the red soil around the temple like a pump, filling the framework outlined by the flames as if it were cement, transforming from ordinary solid into shimmering, molten lava.

After just a few breaths, a massive, crimson giant, spewing flames from its seven orifices, with twisted horns on its head and sharp thorns protruding from its body, stood majestically upon the earth.

Behind him, massive wings made of fire, like the wings of a Dragon, blotted out the sky.

Beneath his feet, the red soil completely melted, becoming shining glaze, and with his breathing, the surrounding temperature continuously rose to an unbearable degree.

"I will reclaim this portion of power, shatter that fragile high wall, kill all the people you love, burn this world, and then rule its ashes—watch your kingdom weep, hahahahaha!"

The God of Burning Wind of the Burning Wind Scorched Earth rejoiced in its freedom, roaring incessantly at the sky.

Beneath the giant's feet, the burning humanoids climbing out of the tomb already numbered in the hundreds; they opened their charred mouths at angles beyond human limits, emitting pitch-black smoke.

"Roar ah ah ah ah ah——"

These Mortals, who had submitted to him millennia ago, became his loyal kin.

Even after death, they would still pledge allegiance to their God.

Of course, this incomplete existence was merely a tiny part of him, not even a fragment, but rather just dust.

Thousands of years ago, to punish the Pasha who dared to cross the border and enter the kingdom he ruled, he personally went to war, wielding the World-Burning Sword, and stormed into this cold kingdom.

Everywhere he passed became scorched earth, incinerating no less than ten million living beings.

However, with the interference of another Great One, and the betrayal of the existence within the deep ocean behind him, although he severely wounded two great enemies, his own power was stripped and Sealed.

Although this power was minuscule, it rendered him incomplete.

However, some time ago, a visitor from the starry sky gave him an opportunity.

Together with a few fortunate existences, they divided the power of that outsider, which also gave him the chance to break through the Seal and regain his freedom—and that time was now!

"Mortals, what you seek are merely my embers; yet you still believe you are pursuing wisdom and truth—you are nothing but tools for my escape, playthings I have deluded, and you can only become the fuel for my return to the Peak!"

Perhaps having been trapped underground for too long, the God of Burning Wind spoke an unusual amount. Before killing these foolish Mortals, he intended to fully mock their stupidity.

Especially the small, weak, but sufficiently special existence at his feet, one of the same Rank as him.

"Moon, I invite you one last time—you and I can share this world."

Covered entirely in golden-red lava, with a skull-like head made of flames, only his blazing, flare-like eyes fixed on the existence on the ground. The God of Burning Wind did not need to open his mouth; his consciousness passed through the void of space and into Goki's mind.

But to this, Goki merely rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, you escaped—to be honest, I had ten thousand chances to stop your possession. This little trick, calling it idiotic would be overestimating you. What the hell did you delude? You just blundered out."

Towards the God before him, he was cautious but not apprehensive, neither fearful nor particularly respectful.

Based on the small tricks the opponent displayed, Goki was 100% certain that this "Lord of the Burning Wind Scorched Earth" and "God of Fire and Lava" was a pure brute.

His Domain could make people irritable and belligerent, and his unsealing method involved tricking the amnesiac Sister 42 into drawing her sword, then relying on luck to approach his temple.

If Goki hadn't come here, how would this Sarkaz Nona have released him? She might have just run off to Ursus!

If Rhine Lab hadn't just removed his arm, such an unsealing would probably not even be possible.

In between, Goki himself had offered quite a bit of help, introducing guides and assisting in killing small monsters, which ultimately ensured the God's resurrection.

Whether in terms of strength, Rank, or methods, this Flame God was far inferior to the Great Ones Goki was familiar with.

In a sense, he was even a bit cute.

"I let you out to kill you and reclaim my power. Don't think you're so great, okay?"

Raising an eyebrow in disdain, Goki felt that this lava giant before him was still lacking something.

So... [Current Rank: 29 blood echoes: 225 Vitality: 15 Endurance: 11+4 = 15 Strength: 15+1 = 16 Dexterity: 11+4 = 15 Bloodtinge: 10 Arcane: 9]

In an instant, Goki completely spent all the blood echoes he had accumulated in the past and during the recent hunt.

He felt his heart beating, his blood surging, and even his cloak dancing fiercely in the blazing wind.

The slight fatigue accumulated during the long battle instantly vanished, and his thoughts became increasingly agile and swift. Goki finally became an excellent well-rounded character.

With more stamina and more agile movements, Goki had now finally become a "standard" Terra warrior; considering only physical fitness, he was already in the middle tier of super Terrans.

As for that little extra Strength, it was to meet the usage requirements for that weapon—

Clang!

As if by magic, a heavy stone hammer, etched with mysterious carvings, appeared on Goki's shoulder.

Its handle was not smooth; instead, it was flat and thick, more like a scabbard than a hammer handle.

Goki couldn't even hold it up for long; he had to lean it on his shoulder to support this stone heavy hammer with the strength of his entire body.

[Church Stone Hammer A typical trick weapon used by Healing Church Hunters.

One side is a nimble silver sword, the other is a massive stone blunt weapon capable of generating immense impact.

Crafted by a competing school of craftsmanship, this Hunter's trick weapon was supposedly forged by the Healing Church somewhere within the Grand Cathedral.]

This was the weapon Goki exchanged with blood echoes after obtaining the "Sword Hunter's Badge."

He hadn't used it before because his Strength points were insufficient; he couldn't even lift it, and there was no need.

For agile enemies, such a heavy and slow weapon couldn't hit the opponent; it was overkill to exert so much effort to smash an Originium Slug.

However, for the burning giant before him, this weapon was just right.

Goki did not relax his guard against this "piece of residue" of a God; the opponent was still very strong.

Feeling his lungs filled with flames, Goki was full of Battle Intent.

Upon hearing Goki's words, the God of Burning Wind fell into a brief silence, seemingly disbelieving of the other party's audacity.

Immediately after, he let out a tremendous roar that shook the heavens and earth.

"...Enough! Little worm, my patience has limits. Since you've forfeited your last chance, don't blame me for burning you to ashes—I've dried up oceans, melted glaciers, and this forest will also turn to charcoal!"

Waving his flame sword, roaring at the sky, making the air around the entire temple scorching hot, the God of Burning Wind wielded the enlarged laevatein in his hand and pointed it at Goki.

Behind him, the burning humanoids who had just crawled out of the temple also let out hoarse roars, unhesitatingly charging towards Goki.

And in the next second, behind Goki, countless roaring green figures also charged out.

"Nobody snatch it from me!"

"That's my opponent—"

"Waaaagh!!"
