The manager adjusts his sleeves and looks at them calmly.

Battlefield
Jay is still fighting.
The demon suddenly raises its arm.
A massive surge of energy gathers in its palm—
Then it fires.
The blast hits Jay directly in the face.
BOOM!
Jay is sent flying across the battlefield, crashing through debris before slamming into the ground.
Zarathor and Kaelvius immediately counterattack, striking the demon from both sides. Thalvor prepares to charge—
But in the next instant—
He disappears.
Zarathor vanishes.
Kaelvius vanishes.
Silence.
Only Jay and the demon remain.
Jay slowly pushes himself up. His clothes are torn, his body bruised. Inside his Demon Diary, a notification flashes:

The demon laughs and charges.
Jay charges too.
Their blades clash—
Jay swings at the demon's hardened bandages.

Raghav and the others move quickly. Ansh walks beside them.
Raghav finally asks, "What exactly did you do to us earlier?"
Ansh answers calmly, "I entered your minds. Controlled them briefly."
He gives a faint smile.
"Why are you all looking at me like I killed someone?"
Then he pauses.
"And who is that man? Is he with us?"
Raghav frowns. "Who?"
Ansh points.
Kabir is standing a short distance away, trembling violently.
Kabir's voice shakes.
"Who did we bring with us…? He's not here to help. He's going to kill us… The Black Punisher… What is happening…?"
Raghav places a hand on Kabir's shoulder.
Kabir flinches violently.
"What happened?" Raghav asks.
"…Nothing," Kabir whispers.
They continue walking.

Jay struggles to stand.
Suddenly, the demon grabs a nearby civilian by the throat.

It drives its fist into the man's stomach.

Jay roars.

"Why are demons like this?! Why do you kill humans?! What did we ever do to you?!"
