Chapter 14 - Teyvat Is Terrified by the Stellaron!

Scaramouche: The Doctor Has Truly Gone Mad

"Um… excuse me, everyone, can I ask something?"

Amber raised her hand timidly.

"What exactly is this 'Stellaron'?"

"Why did everyone suddenly look so scared the moment they heard it was inside Miss Steluna?"

"In the first place… what is a Stellaron anyway?"

In Mondstadt, Amber sat resting against a wall, staring at the live screen with confusion written all over her face.

Just moments ago, everyone had still been chatting cheerfully.

So why did the atmosphere change so dramatically all of a sudden?

Lumine frowned slightly.

"Steluna is a wonderful person, isn't she?"

"Then why do people suddenly look at her differently just because of this Stellaron?"

Paimon puffed up her cheeks.

"Yeah! Paimon doesn't get it either!"

"Can someone please explain??"

To them, Steluna might be a little goofy, a little dramatic…

But she was undeniably kind. Someone you wanted as a companion.

And yet, just because of something inside her, people were already talking about universal blacklisting?

That was far too extreme.

Finally, Dr. Ratio stepped forward.

"The Stellaron — also known as the Cancer of All Worlds."

"It is suspected to be a creation of the Destruction Aeon, Nanook."

"Worlds touched by a Stellaron often meet their end in catastrophic ruin."

"Only a handful of powers in the universe possess the ability to suppress or seal such an object."

"For any other world, encountering a Stellaron is equivalent to a death sentence."

He adjusted his glasses.

"So now, do you understand why people fear her?"

"If the Stellaron within her goes out of control…"

"It possesses enough power to obliterate an entire planet."

Silence.

Then—

"An entire… planet?!"

Lumine froze in shock.

She never imagined something could be so horrifying.

Power capable of annihilating a world in an instant…

If such a thing were to fall upon Teyvat…

There would be nothing left.

"N-no no no… that's terrifying…"

"Please don't ever come to Teyvat, Stellaron…"

Paimon shuddered, almost on the verge of tears.

In Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, Zhongli's expression turned solemn.

"A creation of the Destruction Aeon…"

"To think such a calamity exists beyond our skies…"

"If this were to descend upon Teyvat…"

"Even the Heavenly Principles might be powerless."

His gaze darkened.

"Perhaps… Teyvat being sealed from the greater cosmos was never solely a curse, but a shield."

He folded his arms thoughtfully.

"If we were to reconnect with the universe as things stand…"

"And a Stellaron were to descend…"

"Then I would become the one who doomed the entire world."

After long silence, Zhongli exhaled.

"For now, the matter of reconnecting Teyvat with the cosmos… must be postponed indefinitely."

"Until a day comes where we no longer fear the Stellaron."

"However… that path is steep indeed."

High in the open field, Venti drained his mug.

"The universe sure doesn't play around…"

"Compared to that, the disasters we've faced are like children's games."

He looked up at the sky, slightly melancholic.

"Old man Geo might not be so eager to open the gates now, huh…"

"With dangers like that out there… stepping beyond Teyvat suddenly feels impossible."

Elsewhere — within the God-Making Facility.

Scaramouche's eyes gleamed with feverish excitement.

"So the Stellaron is this powerful…?"

"Stronger than even a Gnosis?"

He clenched his fist.

"If I could obtain one… and use it as my core…"

"Wouldn't I become something beyond even the gods?!"

His mechanical body hummed faintly, as desire swelled within him.

A mocking voice echoed behind him.

"Scaramouche. Stop indulging in futile delusions."

The Doctor stepped forward calmly.

"Such a divine construct is not something you are worthy of touching."

Scaramouche burst into laughter.

"Oh? And you are?"

He pointed accusingly.

"You think only you are worthy?!"

The Doctor replied coldly,

"Indeed. Such an object could only be deciphered and wielded by one of my intellect."

"Through it… I may even unravel the very nature of Aeons."

His eyes gleamed with unsettling clarity.

"To understand a god is not impossible. Even Aeons are subject to analysis."

Scaramouche stared, then laughed harder.

"Hah… so you've finally gone insane."

"Research an Aeon?"

"You can't even leave Teyvat, and you're talking about dissecting cosmic deities?"

He shook his head in disgust.

"Your arrogance is truly unmatched, Doctor."

"If anyone here is delusional, it's you."

He turned away sharply.

"No wonder the Fatui are such a mess."

"Fools and lunatics — the lot of them."

"When I finally ascend… I'm leaving this idiotic organization for good."

And in the quiet aftermath, the implication lingered:

The Stellaron was not just a power.

It was temptation, terror, and apocalypse all wrapped into one.

And now… Teyvat knew of its existence.
