Chapter 10 — "Hina's Cooking: Humanity's Extinction Event"
The living room was already destroyed emotionally, mentally, spiritually.
But NOW—
A new disaster was about to begin.
A disaster shaped like a tiny girl with too much confidence.
Hina (fists clenched):
"OKAY EVERYONE! I WILL COOK MY SPECIAL DISH!!
THE HINA SIGNATURE CREATION 2.0!"
Everyone froze.
Including the purple creature in Souta's room—it stopped wiggling and silently prayed.
Takumi's soul left his body
Takumi (whispering):
"No… NO… NOT 2.0… We barely survived 1.0 at home… That soup killed the PLANTS…"
Kaede grabbed his collar.
Kaede: "WHAT DID SHE DO!?"
Takumi: "T-The carrots turned blue and started moving…"
Himari sparkled with excitement.
Himari: "OMG REALLY!? LET'S SEE THAT AGAIN!!"
Takumi died inside again.
Hina walked confidently into the kitchen
Tiny footsteps.
Huge consequences.
Her ponytail bounced like a weapon.
Hina: "TIME TO COOK!"
She opened the fridge.
Everyone peeked from behind the couch—
Hana with cookies
Kaede with fists
Takumi with fear
Himari with excitement
Souta… still unconscious like a fossil.
Ingredients Hina took out:
A lemon
A carrot
A bottle of soda
Something glowing purple (Takumi screamed)
A packet labeled "EXPERIMENTAL SPICE — DO NOT EAT"
A fish that looked like it had given up
A cookie Hana sneaked in (she thought it would help)
Takumi: "HINA STOP!!!"
Hina: "NO! THIS IS HOW YOU COOK!"
She threw EVERYTHING into one pot.
No chopping, no washing, no salt.
Just raw chaos.
The pot SIZZLED.
The pot SHOOK.
The pot GROWLED.
Kaede: "WHY IS IT MAKING NOISE!?"
Takumi: "BECAUSE IT'S ALIVE!!"
Himari: "COOOOOL!!"
The pot suddenly JUMPED.
Like it wanted to run away.
Meanwhile Souta…
He twitched.
Barely.
Just a finger.
Hana gasped dramatically.
Hana: "HE MOVED!! HE'S EVOLVING!!"
Her cookies dropped from excitement.
The final dish… appeared
After 3 minutes of chaos, lightning, and shouting—
Hina lifted the pot lid proudly.
Inside was something that looked like:
A jellyfish
A galaxy
A dying star
A lemon slice floating like a life raft
Something purple blinking Morse code
Hina: "TA-DA! MY SPECIAL—"
The dish hissed.
Everyone took one step back.
Takumi: "Hina… please… d-don't feed this to humans…"
Hina: "WHAT!? But this is my best dish!!"
Hana, meanwhile, had ONE THOUGHT:
> "Should I feed this to Souta…?"
She slowly lifted a spoon.
Takumi (screaming):
"HANA NOOOOOOOOO—!!"
But—
TOO LATE.
Hana put the spoon near Souta's lips.
The dish JUMPED off the spoon and INTO his mouth on its own.
The whole room froze.
Time stopped.
The purple creature hid behind a manga.
Souta opened his eyes slowly…
Stared at the ceiling…
Then stared at Hana…
Then whispered something:
Souta (weak):
"…why…"
Then fainted again.
Hana sparkled.
Hana: "He talked to me… "
Kaede turned to Takumi.
Kaede: "He survived. That means we all can eat it."
Takumi collapsed.
Himari raised her spoon like a warrior:
Himari: "CHARGE!!!"
Hina proudly placed the glowing, vibrating, slightly humming bowl of soup on the table.
The table itself SHOOK like it was afraid.
Hina (sparkling):
"OKAY EVERYONE! LET'S EAT!"
The soup growled.
Literally growled.
Takumi slowly backed away until his back hit the wall.

1. Kaede vs. The Soup
Kaede stared at the soup with the same expression she used before punching Takumi.
Kaede:
"If this thing moves, I'm punching it."
The soup moved.
Kaede PUNCHED the bowl.
The bowl punched back.
Takumi:
"WHY CAN IT FIGHT BACK!?!?"
The impact sent Takumi flying into the couch.
Himari clapped.
Himari:
"WOW! IT HAS REFLEXES!! AMAZING!!"

2. Himari Tries to Befriend It
Himari, fearless like a golden retriever, leaned close to the bubbling creature.
Himari:
"Hi little soup! Do you want to be friends?"
The soup bubbled once.
A tiny purple bubble floated up and popped on her forehead like a kiss.
Himari:
"…IT LIKES ME!!"
The soup jiggled.
Takumi screamed.
Takumi:
"HIMARI GET AWAY FROM IT BEFORE IT ABSORBS YOU!!"

3. Hana… tries to FEED it to Souta AGAIN
Souta was lying on the couch, one leg dangling, soul in another dimension.
Hana, meanwhile, blushing like she's proposing marriage:
Hana:
"Souta… you need energy to evolve more…"
She scooped a glowing chunk of the soup.
The spoon TWITCHED in fear.
Takumi:
"HANA NO! HE JUST SURVIVED ONE SPOON!"
Hana ignored him.
She brought the spoon close—
The soup LEAPED off the spoon and crawled into Souta's mouth like a parasite going home.
Souta's fingers twitched.
His eyes opened halfway.
He stared at Hana.
He stared at the ceiling.
He stared at LIFE.
Then whispered:
Souta:
"…I give up…"
And fainted again.
Hana hugged a cookie out of embarrassment.

4. Hina proudly serves more food
Hina came out with another dish.
Another.
AND ANOTHER.
Takumi:
"HINA STOP—
STOP—
STOP—
WE DON'T NEED 5 MORE DISHES!!!"
Hina pouted with tearful puppy eyes.
Hina:
"You don't like my cooking…?"
Takumi panicked.
Takumi:
"N-NO! I LOVE IT! IT'S AMAZING! IT'S JUST—just—DEATH."
Kaede punched him.

5. The Dishes: A Full Menu of Disaster
Dish 1:
A salad that moved like grass in wind.
Dish 2:
Rice that bounced like rubber balls.
Dish 3:
A curry that whispered.
WHISPERED.
Dish 4:
A dessert that blinked.
Dish 5:
A drink that smoked like a volcano.
Himari:
"I CALL DIBS ON THE SMOKEY DRINK!!"
Takumi tried to grab her—
Too late.
She drank it in one gulp.
Everyone froze.
The room froze.
The soup froze.
Himari blinked.
Then smiled.
Himari:
"It tastes like… rainbow fire…"
Then passed out standing like a statue.

6. Kaede Finally Eats It Too
Kaede, frustrated, annoyed, angry at the universe, grabbed a spoon.
Takumi:
"KA—KA—KA—KA—KA— KA—DE—DON'T—"
Kaede ate the soup.
Chewed.
Swallowed.
Everyone leaned forward.
The soup leaned forward.
Even Souta twitched.
Kaede stood there silently for 10 seconds.
Then—
Kaede:
"…Needs salt."
EVERYONE:
"WHAT!???"
The soup stopped moving.
It was SCARED OF HER.

7. Takumi Gets FORCED To Eat
Hina jumped into Takumi's lap.
Hina:
"BIG BROTHER, YOU HAVEN'T EATEN YET!"
Takumi tried to escape
He failed.
Kaede grabbed him.
Himari (still fainted) fell onto him.
Hana gently fed him one spoon.
Hana:
"Say ahh~"
Takumi screamed:
Takumi:
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH—!!"
He swallowed.
He froze.
His soul left.
His eyes turned white.
He kneeled on the floor and whispered:
Takumi:
"…I have seen the afterlife…"

8. Souta Awakens (Sort Of)
After all the chaos, the room went quiet.
The soup calmed.
Takumi laid on the floor questioning humanity.
Himari slept standing.
Kaede crossed her arms like she won a war.
Hina smiled proudly.
Hana sat near Souta with more cookies.
Souta finally opened both eyes fully.
Everyone paused.
He slowly sat up.
Everyone watched in shock.
Souta looked around.
Looked at the glowing dishes.
Looked at his brother on the floor.
Looked at Hana blushing.
Then…
Souta:
"…I'm going back to sleep."
And collapsed again.
