Chapter 1 - the prison

Where am I?

The first thing I saw upon opening my eyes was... darkness.

It took me a while to get used to the scarce light filtering through the cell window, but little by little I could make out my surroundings. I was in a gloomy room, where only a pile of straw lay, a bowl of murky water, and what appeared to be some pieces of bread... although, covered in mold, they were more like mold in the shape of bread.

It was evident: I was in a prison!

"How could this happen?" I screamed mentally. "I was the best friend of the fourth prince, Dariom, and we were roommates. After fencing class, upon returning to our room, I found him dead on the desk. I immediately called the teachers, but when they arrived and saw the body, they arrested me. Five days have already passed and no one has come to see me, except for the guard who brings me this bread... or whatever it is."

Dariom was nothing more than the son of the emperor's fourth wife, but that didn't change my situation.

The only answer to my despair was the echo of my own voice resonating in that dungeon.

After a brief silence, a metallic screech was heard, as if a heavy door was opening. A beam of light burst into the darkness, followed by the glow of a torch held by two guards. They wore leather armor and wielded spears. Upon entering, they fixed their gazes on me, and their expressions made it clear they didn't have good intentions.

They approached my cell and stopped in front of the bars. Suddenly, one of them thrust his spear between the irons and shouted: "Hey, brat! What do you think you're doing? How dare you make so much noise! Do you need us to teach you a lesson?"

The sudden movement made me step back, trip, and fall on my back. Although they maintained stern faces, the gleam in their eyes betrayed that they enjoyed my torment.

Without hesitation, I knelt and begged: "Please, don't hurt me! I promise to stay quiet!"

While I kept my head bowed, I looked furtively upward. As expected, a smirk of disdain formed on their faces. From their clothing and attitude, it was evident they were low-ranking guards, but they loved feeling superior, taking advantage of any helpless prisoner.

The guards snorted before threatening me again: "Quiet, or you'll receive a lesson you won't forget."

Then they left, and as they walked away, I noticed their step was light, as if they were satisfied.

After a while, I decided to explore the cell in search of some way to escape. But before I could find anything, I heard again the sound of the door opening. Light flooded the dungeon once more.

I immediately interrupted my search and sat in the center of the cell. If it was the guards, I had to feign weakness to feed their ego and avoid trouble. However, to my surprise, they weren't alone.

The same guards were now accompanying a woman of dazzling beauty. Her bearing was elegant and her walk, seductive. Every step she took made her curves stand out, and her presence filled the place with an unsettling authority.

This mature woman is tempting people to look at her enormous bust and admire those huge buttocks. As she approached, with every step, Rae felt her soft curves pressing against her clothes.

The woman approached my cell and observed me intently before addressing the guards: "Release him."

One of the guards nodded quickly and, immediately, thrust his spear through the bars, pointing at me. "Get up, scum! Can't you see Her Majesty is here? Stand up and bow!"

I was paralyzed, not just by the threat, but because I recognized that woman. She was Madame Alice, the king's fourth wife and mother of Dariom. And, although I didn't know it then, she would be the first event to mark the beginning of everything.
