Chapter 71 - Jack’s Mythical Zoan Power, Akainu Strikes Again!

Luo Xing almost couldn't keep a straight face.

Did he just say he could take on ten Akainus?

Jack really was letting his power go to his head.

Sure, the Dragon-Class Monster Cells were monstrously strong — but beating ten Admirals? Not even close.

If he could handle one Akainu, that'd already be a miracle worth celebrating.

Luo Xing coughed lightly to bring him back down to earth.

"Jack. Kneel down for a moment."

Jack, who'd been basking in his newfound strength like a conqueror atop the world, froze mid-boast.

At once, he obeyed — lowering his enormous frame with surprising humility.

Jack's respect for Luo Xing ran deep — perhaps even deeper than what he felt for Kaido himself.

After all, when Akainu's magma punch had nearly burned a hole through his lungs, Luo Xing had saved him with a Senzu Bean.

In a meritocratic crew like the Beast Pirates, losing your strength was worse than death.

Luo Xing had given him back his pride — and now, even greater power through the Dragon-Class Cells.

For Jack, serving Luo Xing wasn't just loyalty; it was devotion.

Even crouched, Jack's body still loomed like a moving mountain.

At over ten meters tall, even Kaido in hybrid form might have to look up at him.

Only the giants of Elbaf could match such size.

"Transform," Luo Xing ordered, eyes narrowing in interest. "Let's see what the Dragon-Class Cells have done to your Zoan form."

Jack roared, obeying immediately.

His already-massive body expanded again — bones groaning, muscles swelling — until he was like a living mountain.

A colossal mammoth stood before them, hundreds of meters tall, shaking the ground with every breath.

Queen gulped audibly.

"Holy crap… he's almost the size of my mecha form!"

But this wasn't the same Ancient Zoan Mammoth he'd known before.

Jack's hide was no longer dull gray — it gleamed like black steel, every inch armored in something that looked harder than seastone.

King exhaled sharply, the heat of his own flames wavering.

"That skin… even a blade coated in Armament Haki might not cut through it."

Jack's defense had evolved to terrifying new levels.

But Luo Xing's eyes gleamed with sharper insight.

"It's not just defense. The Dragon-Class Cells should've unlocked something unique."

In the world of One Punch Man, Dragon-level monsters were second only to gods — each possessing devastating, distinct powers.

If all Jack gained was tougher skin, that'd be selling the Cells short.

Jack's deep voice rumbled like distant thunder.

"I can feel it… My tusks are sharper than any named blade. And my trunk… it can breathe both flame and wind."

He swung his trunk — from one nostril erupted a massive gout of fire, from the other a hurricane-force gale.

Wind fed flame; together they roared upward like a storm born to burn the heavens.

Queen's eyes nearly bulged out of his head.

"T-this—this isn't even a Mammoth anymore! That's a Mythical Zoan, for crying out loud!"

He licked his lips, staring greedily at the remaining purple cores in Luo Xing's case.

"Alright, I'm not waiting another second!"

Without hesitation, Queen grabbed a Dragon-Class Cell and swallowed it whole.

King silently removed his mask, his obsidian eyes burning with focus, and did the same.

If their youngest brother Jack could grow this powerful, there was no way they'd be left behind.

Meanwhile, in Dressrosa...

Since Doflamingo's fall, the kingdom had slowly stabilized.

The initial chaos had passed, and now the citizens — many once turned into toys — lived free again.

The Beast Pirates, following Luo Xing's strict orders, had not oppressed the populace.

They had, in fact, liberated them.

Even the royal Riku Family had been restored — the elderly King Riku reunited with his kin.

Of course, the Beast Pirates weren't doing this out of charity.

Under Luo Xing's guidance, Page One had every street echoing with propaganda through loudspeakers:

"The Beast Pirates brought you freedom from Doflamingo's tyranny!"

"Your true saviors are not the Marines, nor the World Government!"

"Doflamingo was one of their Seven Warlords — their man!"

"Now you know who to thank — and who to hate!"

The people, stirred by truth and resentment, turned against the Navy and the Government, cursing them as the true villains behind their years of suffering.

When news of this reached Luo Xing, he was delighted. He personally commended Page One for his initiative.

With Fuzz-Fu, Ulti, and Page One maintaining order — and the citizens rallying behind them — Dressrosa had become a firm Beast Pirate stronghold.

Oh, and there was one more detail…

The new Queen of Dressrosa was none other than Viola — also Luo Xing's woman.

Inside the palace, Viola sat fuming, her expression dark and melancholy.

"That scoundrel did all that to us, and just left! How infuriating!"

Beside her, Rebecca — her pink-haired niece — tried to comfort her softly.

"Brother Luo Xing must have important work. He can't stay here forever."

"Brother?" Viola snapped, glaring at her. "He called you 'little sister' once, and now he's vanished! Do you still call him that?"

Rebecca lowered her gaze. "Even if he's gone… he's still my protector."

Viola froze mid-breath. She wanted to scold her — but couldn't.

How could she? This was a girl who'd grown up without parents, who'd endured fear and loneliness since childhood.

If that man had given her even a moment of safety — of warmth — who could blame her for clinging to it?

Viola sighed softly and pulled Rebecca into an embrace. The two women said nothing more.

Outside the palace...

Ulti and Page One were bickering as usual when a Beast Pirate grunt ran up, panicked and breathless.

"Report! The Navy— the Navy's coming for us! Five warships spotted at the New World's entrance!"

The siblings froze.

Page One's tone dropped. "Five warships…? That's quite the fleet. Who's leading them? Any Admirals?"

If it was just Vice-Admirals, they could handle it.

But if an Admiral had joined… that was another matter.

The grunt gulped.

"Yes! An Admiral is leading — it's Akainu Sakazuki!"

Both siblings stiffened, eyes meeting in grim recognition.

"Akainu again?!"

Last time, Jack's raid on the Heavenly Tribute had ended in disaster at the hands of that same magma-wielding monster.

If Jack hadn't been a Fish-Man, he would've died then and there.

There was no Admiral in the Navy more feared or more ruthless.

"This is serious," Page One muttered. "We need to contact Lord Luo Xing and Kaido immediately."

He didn't waste a second — snatching up a Den Den Mushi and dialing Luo Xing's private line.
