Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The First Challenge Overcome

Asanali pulled out an injection filled with an unknown liquid and said,

"Do you know how I gained my power?"

"After taking this injection, I obtained this monstrous strength… hmm. However, you can only take it once. Taking it a second time carries a very high risk of death."

"But if you endure it… you'll gain truly devastating power."

"Even I'm not sure whether I could survive the second dose."

"Still, after destroying the school, to stand against the armies of the entire world… I brought this injection with me, ready to take that risk."

He put it back into his pocket.

Aybar moved and launched a counterattack.

However, his attacks were extremely weak.

Aybar was beaten mercilessly and stood on the brink of death.

At that moment, Aybar stole the injection and pretended to use it.

"Fool… you gave me the information yourself,"

he said as he injected it into his own body.

Asanali began to grow angry.

The moment Aybar injected himself, he immediately collapsed unconscious.

Asanali laughed.

"Hahahaha… on the contrary, you're the fool."

"After taking the injection, you'll remain unconscious for an entire day before the power settles into your body."

"Did you really think I'd let you take it so easily?"

"Hahaha… this was my plan all along."

"I knew you would steal the injection."

"Now killing you is easy. And after that… the school."

"And finally… hahaha… the entire world."

He smiled and slowly approached Aybar.

The entire school was engulfed in fear.

Asanali stood over Aybar and said angrily,

"You understand nothing."

"Because of this school… I lost people who were priceless to me."

"What do you know… you don't understand anything!"

As he lunged forward to finish Aybar—

A bolt of lightning suddenly struck Aybar from the sky with a loud CRASH.

Asanali's eyes widened.

"Impossible…"

Layers of wind surrounded Aybar.

Above the wind, flames blazed, and electricity crackled wildly.

Aybar rose in rage.

His eyes turned completely red, glowing intensely.

He launched devastating attacks at overwhelming speed.

Asanali barely managed to dodge Aybar's strikes.

Shocked yet furious, Asanali shouted,

"You bastard—how is this possible?!"

"How can you—this is impossible! You were supposed to be unconscious for a whole day!"

"How…?!"

Aybar's attacks only grew faster and stronger.

He tore into Asanali, shredding his body, leaving him drenched in blood.

Teachers and students watching through the windows stood frozen in disbelief.

But Asanali laughed.

"Hahahahahaha… pathetic."

"I underestimated you…"

As he smiled, all of Asanali's wounds rapidly regenerated and healed.

A layer of fire completely enveloped the wind surrounding his body,

and Asanali transformed into the true form of flame itself.Asanali said,

"I don't know how you did it, but after taking the injection, you should have been unconscious for an entire day."

"Normally, after taking the injection for the first time, a person collapses for a full day… but you…"

"…Fine. What you're using right now is the true form of Wind."

"Yes, in the Wind Form, you can use three elements at the same time."

"But I am currently in the true form of Fire."

"The Fire Form is one level above the Wind Form."

Aybar replied,

"You talk too much. You probably don't even realize that you're feeding me information."

His voice was flat and devoid of emotion, as if he were stating an obvious fact rather than mocking his opponent.

Asanali frowned.

"What…? I gave you information?"

"I'm just warning you that your level is lower than mine."

"I'm feeling sorry for you—telling you how dangerous the situation you're in really is, trying to help you."

Aybar said,

"Is that so?"

"Then let's see."

Without any change in expression or hesitation, he resumed his assault.

A fierce, close-range sword battle erupted between them.

Aybar's movements were precise and mechanical.

He fought on equal footing—or slightly above Asanali—without wasting a single motion.

Seeing Aybar wield a massive sword effortlessly with one hand, Asanali couldn't believe his own eyes.

Asanali's only advantage was his high-level regeneration.

Aybar surpassed him in all other aspects—

physical strength, speed, endurance, defense, attack power, energy output, and weapon mastery—

all overwhelmingly superior.

Asanali clearly understood one thing.

If not for his regeneration, he would have been destroyed long ago.

Asanali said,

"You can't kill me."

"Thanks to my regeneration, I can withstand your attacks."

"You, on the other hand, will only exhaust yourself by attacking endlessly. Once your energy runs out and you weaken—"

"That's when I'll completely dominate this fight."

Aybar replied,

"Hm… regeneration."

"You thought I wouldn't notice?"

"Your weak point is your heart—or rather, a core crystal in its place. Am I right?"

His tone remained calm, analytical, as if he were confirming a hypothesis.

Asanali exploded in rage.

"You bastard!!!"

Aybar said,

"I knew it. Judging by your reaction, I was right."

There was no triumph in his voice.

Aybar continued launching relentless, devastating attacks without pause.

He forced Asanali into the air and continued the battle midair.

This was not done out of excitement or aggression, but calculation—

the level of destruction their attacks caused would have been unacceptable on the ground.

Asanali's chest began to tear open.

Between the wounds, near where his heart should have been, something started to glow.

Aybar's assessment proved correct.

A shining crystal core was clearly visible.

Aybar removed it without hesitation.

Asanali immediately weakened and fell toward the ground.

Aybar descended shortly after, landing calmly.

Asanali acknowledged his defeat.

Aybar said,

"Actually, I can read people based on how they think."

"And this school truly ranks first in Kazakhstan when it comes to delinquency."

"I forgive you."

"Tell me what's been troubling you."

"Maybe someone close to you was killed by bullies, and the principal ignored it."

"I'm listening."

"So… don't waste my time."Asanali let out a bitter laugh.

"Hahaha… heh."

"I used to be a student at this school. I was born and raised in this village."

"I only had my family—my father, my mother, and my younger brother."

"They were priceless to me. After my parents, my brother was the last thing I had… the reason I kept living."

"After our parents died, my brother and I were left as orphans and raised by our grandfather."

"The official report stated that our parents died in a traffic accident."

"But I know the truth."

"It was intentional."

"The bullies at this school never gave us peace. They looked at my brother and me like livestock… like animals."

"One day, they demanded a large sum of money from us."

"They said that if we failed to bring it, our parents would fall into an eternal sleep."

"When I reported it to the principal—a woman—she was terrified and kept making excuses."

"Even the local police officers avoided getting involved."

"Everyone was afraid of those bullies."

"One day after I filed the complaint…"

"My parents urgently had to go to the city."

"But before they even left, at dawn, the bullies came and attached an explosive device to their car."

"The moment my parents set off, before they could even leave the village, the car exploded."

"My parents were burned alive."

"One day at school, I overheard the bullies talking among themselves, openly admitting what they had done."

"I lost control and wanted to beat them on the spot."

"But I was weak."

"They beat me until there wasn't a single uninjured part left."

"From the very next day, my brother began to be beaten every single day—for no reason."

"I couldn't protect him."

"I tried to intervene, but they did it deliberately, beating my brother like an animal right in front of my eyes."

"One day, my brother could no longer endure it…"

"He took his own life."

"That pain crushed me."

"I lost everyone who mattered to me."

"Think about it—I was only seventeen years old at the time."

"After that, I lost my grandfather as well. He fell ill and passed away."

"Then, one rainy night, as I was crying alone outside…"

"A stranger approached me."

"He introduced his organization."

"He said their first target would be this school."

"He promised to fulfill my wish."

"From that moment on, the organization's first objective became the school."

"And if someone within our organization dies…"

"The school drops to second priority."

"Instead, they hunt down the person who killed our member."

"They will not stop until that person is eliminated."

"But that is not the organization's ultimate goal."

"Their true plan is to destroy the world…"

"And create a new one."

"And if you betray the organization…"

"You die.""I joined that organization that way," Asanali continued.

"And they granted me this overwhelming power."

"After that, I searched for the bullies who destroyed my life… and decided to punish them."

"When I finally found them, I didn't spare a single one."

"I burned them alive."

"And today, I came to destroy this school."

"Especially after hearing that the son of that indifferent principal is now the principal of this very school."

"One of the bullies back in my time was the son of the former principal."

"And now, I came to eliminate his brother."

"In short, I killed the current principal's mother and younger brother."

"I believe they deserved that punishment."

"The reason I must destroy this school is to ensure that monsters like them are never born again."

"If you want to eliminate a product, you destroy the factory that produces it."

"That is why I came."

Aybar said,

"You can't tell by my serious expression, but I share your pain."

Asanali replied quietly,

"Even if you let me go, I might attack again."

"And if I don't—if I betray the organization—they will torture me to death."

"So it's better if you kill me yourself."

"I'm already tired… tired of suffering."

"At least let me rest in the next world."

Aybar said calmly,

"I will take full responsibility."

"To me, you are a hero."

"You are a hero who simply lost his way."

"As you said, from now on, I am the organization's main target."

"Rest now, my friend. May the place where you lie be peaceful."

With that, Aybar crushed and shattered the core, destroying it completely.

Asanali smiled faintly.

"Thank you…"

And closed his eyes.

Aybar requested permission from the school, then lifted Asanali's body into his arms and carried him away.

Aybar washed and purified Asanali's body and buried him according to Muslim rites. After Asanalі was buried, the next day there was a class. However, an upperclassman boy came and said, "He's calling all the boys to the office" and tried to take them. The boy said to the teacher that the principal was calling. The teacher replied, "Alright." The upperclassman added, "But the principal said not to bring that boy, Aybar," speaking to the teacher. Everyone in the class understood that he was hiding something, deceiving them. Yet the boys quietly and solemnly left the classroom.

Aybar (thinking to himself): "I can sense what's about to happen," "It's my time," and he silently followed them.

The upperclassmen gathered all the boys in an empty classroom below. After collecting all the boys from the lower grades, they locked the door. Aybar listened at the door. Sounds began to come from inside.

The upperclassmen were hitting the boys while shouting, "Where's the money, aah…" The boys started to cry.

Aybar kicked the door open and said, "What's going on here?" The upperclassmen didn't know who Aybar was. (The upperclassman's name is Meirzhan. In the school and even the village, he is rarely seen. He tells the other upperclassmen, "Is he the new guy?" and all the upperclassmen answer nervously, "Yes.")

Meirzhan asked, "Why are you scared?" But Aybar silently struck him with a mental force, feeling like his hand had hit metal. Aybar showed no emotion, and Meirzhan felt as if a bloodthirsty monster, not a human, was next to him. Meirzhan began to panic. Aybar's aura became visible—a crimson aura in the shape of a red monster. Everyone was terrified.

Meirzhan stammered, "W-what is this!!" Aybar's aura was extremely frightening, forming the image of a red monster. The upperclassmen trembled in fear.

Aybar said, "You thought that by deliberately not calling me, you could carry out your evil plan, huh?" Then he kicked Meirzhan, who flew out through the window. Everyone panicked, calling him "the red monster."

Aybar said harshly, "Go back to your classes." The upperclassmen hurriedly ran away, carrying the collapsed Meirzhan. Aybar's classmates also returned to their classroom.

Then Aybar entered the principal's office. Seeing his aura, the principal was startled and stood up. Aybar said seriously, "I was looking for information about Asanali. Back then, the principal was your mother, right?" The principal, nervous, replied, "Y-yes… yes."

Aybar continued, "And her son, that is, your brother, was the leader of the thugs who harmed Asanali. Not just anyone, but the main one. That's why he came to kill Asanali. And he already killed your brother and mother, of course, sharing the grief with you as well." (The principal's name is Zhasulan Abdullauly)

Zhasulan said, "Yes, I never supported my brother, and I didn't like him. He never listened to me; my mother spoiled him. I am not resentful toward Asanali, nor do I have the right to be. My relatives have been punished."

Aybar: "Alright. I promised Asanali, you know…"
