The events of Rum Wolf and Everdeen Island have greatly affected Marine HQ.
Sengoku was sent to a meeting with the 5 elders to discuss the anger of world nobles at the lack of arrest of the culprits who destroyed their rum transportation line and to Germa that ruined their chances of taking Everdeen's resources to improve life in Marie Geoise.
The Golden Generation took these losses the worst, seeking strength, they went to the only people mad enough to help them.
Booom
An explosion destroyed the area, once a beautiful land now turned to waste, the one responsible for the mess was Kizaru, the light man and 1/3 of the current Admirals.
"Come on now–you all can't run the whole time." He mused, shooting light beams from his fingers, the vibrant attacks, swarmed to the escaping Marines.
Gion, Sonya, Doll, and Hina attempted to deflect the beams. Using their Armament and Observation Haki, Kizaru instructed them to get stronger.
Zap.
A beam of light pierced Doll's shoulder, skin burning a bit.
"Oi! That hurts!" She shouted.
Gion managed to cut a beam in half, dodging another from hitting her neck.
Sonya shielded herself with her Jitte, the sea stone weapon, which is reinforced with her haki; she's able to bend a few beams away.
Hina greeted her teeth, wrapping her Devil Fruit bars around Kizaru, who surprisingly didn't resist.
"Cool trick." He reflexes his muscle, shattering the bars like glass.
Hina was sent back because of her ability being destroyed. "He broke it with such ease." She panted.
Regrouping the ladies huddled close to discuss a plan to stop him.
"Aby ideas how to be the invincible light human?" Sonya chuckled.
Doll, clutching her injured shoulder, sneered," As he said, for our haki to grow, we need to face stronger opponents. " She repeated his earlier lesson.
"Hina doesn't care if we break every bone...I hate being weak." Her mind raced with memories of the defeat to Germany, a crushing loss, and she almost got violated if it wasn't for that man.
Gion placed her hand on Hina's back, steadying her shaking body, "Hina...let's move together. "
Sonya and Doll are mimicking her action.
"We got this."
Kizaru, observing their teamwork, decided to even the odds; his body became light and expanded to 4 identical copies of him.
"That was a really beautiful display of support, but I can't let you gang up on me."
"This isn't fair!" Doll snapped, looking at the 4 Kizarus.
Before they could protest any further, the 4 light men, former sabers of pure light, flashing towards the girls, this training has just begun.
On another side of the Island, boulders are levitating, moving against the laws of gravity. The boulders dashed towards Ramos and Tashigi. Ramos is currently shirtless with bruises across his body, debris coating his skin. As for Tashigi, she held her sword, blade flickering with Armament haki; she was feeling exhausted from continuously fighting.
"His just like Kizaru." Tashigi panted.
Ramos nodded at her comparison, not letting his eyes leave Fujitora.
The blind Vice-Admiral was elevated by a mountain top, sword gleaming with purple energy, commanding more boulders to strike them.
"Do not fear now young marines–this is part of the growth."
"Tsk." Ramos jumped into the sky, to meet the hail of rocks. First hardened, he struck the nearest one, breaking it into millions of pieces. Tashigi, not faltering, sent a massive navy blue slash at a boulder nearing her. The slash cut the boulder in two.
Fujitora smiled at their performance and awarded them with an even bigger piece of Earth, covering the area in darkness, the two Marines watched in awe at his power.
"Son of a ..." Ramos trailed off, before kicking
His way to the comet level rock.
"I can't believe weak...for Ace."
[Whole Cake Island]
The land of sweets and homies is the main base of Charlotte Linlin. The female emperor, captain of the Big Mom pirates, and matriarch of the Charlotte family.
"Mama–mama." She laughed, reading the daily paper, her eyes roamed on a certain page,
François "Bloody Jean " Nau. Has been killed by Vice-Admiral Portgas D. Ramos and Petty Chief Officer Tashigi.
The paper talked about how the pirate captain was apprehended at Opus Island, where he and his men slaughtered all the Islanders before Ramos and Tashigi put an end to the cannibal crew.
"Such a horrible man, eating humans is barbaric!" Linlin spat in disgust.
Katakuri, Smoothie, and Cracker kneeled in front of their mother, awaiting her instruction.
Eyes on the blonde-haired man's photo, Big Mom had a thought, looking at her daughter, a smirk appeared on her big cheeks. "Smoothie."
"Mother?" The beautiful white-haired, tall pirate spoke.
"You are quite old right? I think it's time you help grow the family." Big Mom hummed.
Smoothie froze at her mother's words, mouth opening and closing slowly, "Are you married? With who?" She stammered out.
"Mama–mama. A D clan would make an excellent addition to my bloodline. " She fantasised.
Katakuri clenched his arm at his mother's words."Mother. If I may ask, he is a Marine. How are we to convince him to join?"
Big Mom glanced at him," I do not fear Sengoku and his dogs, one Marine disappearing won't hurt them." She smiled all sinister.
