The scene shifts.
David grabbed Peter's shoulders and slammed him to the ground!
With a loud bang!
Peter's body turned into a black streak, rolling and plowing a deep, long furrow in the ground until he crashed into a power pylon, sending electrical sparks flying. His retreating form finally came to a halt.
Although his body possessed super defensive capabilities, harder than steel, he still felt every part of his body sending a burning pain to his brain!
Taking a deep breath, he fixed his gaze on David, whose eyes glowed with purple light, and stumbled to his feet.
With a loud boom in the air, David appeared in front of Peter.
"Dad, I'm sending you to hell!"
The hoarse and aged David, coupled with his wrinkled face, spoke in a strange, muddled voice.
Peter: "?!"
Martian Manhunter, lying on the ground, weak and frail, saw Peter's bewildered expression and explained, "Cough, cough, he… he will have the memories of those he absorbs!"
Peter nodded upon hearing this. Perhaps this guy had absorbed Clark and John's abilities, so he possessed some of their memories.
"I don't have an ugly son like you!"
As Peter spoke, he threw a punch, sending the opponent flying.
With a loud bang, David crashed to the ground with a deafening sound.
Peter moved to the power plant with the fastest speed, grabbed a car, and threw it at the opponent.
"Boom!"
The car crashed heavily to the ground, smoke and dust accompanying the explosion, rapidly spreading in all directions.
The next second, Peter had not yet caught sight of the opponent.
David, more than twice as fast, instantly moved in front of him.
Peter quickly raised his arms to block in front of his chest, but was still sent flying by a punch.
His guard was directly shattered by the Parasitic Demon's overwhelming force, and Peter was sent flying with a crash, then rolled uncontrollably on the ground.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The items in the power plant met their doom, being continuously struck.
Walls and machinery were destroyed by Peter and the kinetic energy carried by his body.
Finally, his body crashed into a set of steps inside the factory, making a huge booming sound.
The stone steps were shattered by him, sending rocks flying, and dust quickly spread.
Peter lay on the damaged steps, panting slightly, his whole body in uncontrollable agony.
David descended from the sky like a Rocket.
As he landed, the ground beneath his feet vibrated with a rustling sound.
Just as David was about to continue his attack on Peter, he suddenly stopped in place and turned his head to look to his left.
The next moment, a booming sound, as if space itself was vibrating, echoed throughout the entire area.
A wall to the front left suddenly exploded, and a figure charged towards David.
Amidst the concrete and rebar from the shattered wall, Mark roared as he wrapped his arms around David's chest.
Caught off guard, David felt as if he had been hit by a A-Train.
The two surged forward, crashing through everything in their path.
With a loud bang, Mark slammed David into a warehouse at the power plant.
With a thunderous roar, the room, usually used for storing miscellaneous items, immediately began to collapse. Wooden planks and steel structures, like overflowing mud and sand, poured down from mid-air.
An enraged Mark suppressed the Parasitic Demon, preventing it from getting up, and with all his might, delivered a punch to the opponent's face.
"How dare you—"
Mark's tender face, contorted with extreme rage, landed a punch near the opponent's eye, sending purple blood gushing out.
"Harm—"
Another punch landed near the opponent's chin, causing the Parasitic Demon to let out a pained shriek.
"—my Dad!"
The final punch used almost all of Mark's strength, leaving the opponent's face a bloody mess.
David was directly triggered by these three punches. He struggled to mobilize all his strength, thrusting his waist to flip over and pinning Mark beneath him.
A huge hand pressed down on Mark's head, pushing him into the dirt, and began to absorb Mark's energy.
Despite having his head held down and his life force absorbed, Mark still gritted his teeth, his neck red, and struggled fiercely.
"Ah ah ah!"
Accompanied by a cry of pain, Mark's eyes unleashed red lasers with super Heat Vision, shooting towards the opponent.
"Sizzle!"
The Heat Vision, hot enough to scorch the air, directly impacted David's face.
Unable to react, he was heavily struck, letting out a muffled groan, and flew off diagonally.
On the other side, Peter had already stood up.
After that brief rest, his stamina had recovered somewhat.
Taking advantage of the moment the Parasitic Demon was sent flying by Mark's Heat Vision, Peter got up and moved to the opponent's front with lightning speed, delivering a punch.
The powerful attack slammed the Parasitic Demon into the wall, creating an earth-shattering sound.
"Boom!"
The wall and glass seemed to have been hit by a bomb, making a thunderous sound and burying the Parasitic Demon inside.
Peter, breathing slightly heavily, looked at his equally disheveled eldest son.
"John, leave here, now."
Ignoring the need to figure out why Mark had appeared, Peter told him to go home immediately.
The worst-case scenario now was for him and Martian Manhunter to perish here.
There was no need for John to die in vain.
Although his character was sometimes despicable, the affection he held for a son he had raised for seven years was not fake.
"No! Dad! I won't leave!"
Mark wiped the dirt from his face, panting and stubbornly saying, "I promised you that if necessary, I could sacrifice myself for you, Dad. You said a man's promise must be kept."
Although young, Mark knew Peter wanted him to leave and then sacrifice himself.
He had no fear of Death.
After all, everyone's life clock would ring.
But what he feared was his father's clock ringing before his own.
"No one will sacrifice, and no one is asking you to sacrifice for others, John, are you not going to listen to me anymore?"
No sooner had Peter finished speaking than with a loud bang, the Parasitic Demon burst through the buried rubble and rushed over, grabbing his shoulder.
Peter immediately grabbed the opponent's throat in return.
Just as he was about to exert force, he suddenly felt a wave of weakness, and a sense of fatigue and powerlessness instantly washed over him.
"Fuck!"
Peter, cursing a national expletive, was grabbed by the shoulder by the Parasitic Demon and flew into the sky.
"Dad!"
Mark watched in shock as the Parasitic Demon and Peter flew high into the sky.
He reached out to grab them, but forgot the fact that he couldn't fly.
Mark, filled with frustration, slapped himself across the face.
It was all his fault for not learning to fly.
