Synopsis
An ordinary young man died pathetically beneath storm-lit traffic. But in the silent abyss beyond life, the Void Rift claimed him. There, abandoned by time and reality, his shattered soul was chosen by an ancient presence older than universes. It rewrote him. Tempered him. Crowned him the Voidborn, heir to laws that defy existence. For 20 trillion years, he ruled everything. Multiverses bowed. Gods broke. Destiny kneeled. He became the taboo whispered by immortals. Yet power meant nothing without warmth. Longing for affection he never had, he sealed his supreme body and reincarnated into a legendary clan whose bloodline came from a forgotten god-slayer: the Taboo Gu Family, feared across infinite realms. Cherished by mighty parents, adored by siblings, born a Transcendent and surpassing Zeroth realms before adulthood, he finally had what he once lacked. But a villain never forgets his role. He hijacks a Hero System, warps its purpose, and turns it into a predator that hunts “Children of Destiny.” Their luck, opportunities, and women now flow to him alone. When he steps into the world of Eclipse of Illusion—a story he once read on Earth—he smiles. The protagonist? He will devour his fate. The heroines? They will fall for him. The villains? They will kneel.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – Rebirth of the Voidborn

The first cry shook the heavens.

Across the forbidden lands of an ancient multiverse, a phenomenon erupted—skies split into rivers of gold, constellations bent into patterns unseen, and void storms howled like the voices of ancient gods. At the very center of it all, in a grand palace built from black crystal and boundless obsidian flames, a child opened his eyes.

His pupils were not like mortal children's. They were vast, starry abysses, reflecting the endless void itself.

The elders of the clan trembled. The servants prostrated, too afraid to look directly. Even the thirteen slumbering Zeroth-tier ancestors stirred, opening one eye each, their gazes piercing across space-time to witness the impossible birth.

"From the moment of birth… a Transcendent!" one ancestor whispered, his voice trembling though he had lived billions of years.

"No… not just Transcendent," another corrected. "This child's essence… it is beyond Tao. He was born carrying the breath of realms no one has ever reached."

And at that moment, the taboo name that all beings feared, the name erased from the tongues of lesser creatures, was whispered once more.

The Forbidden Lineage.

A family so ancient, so feared, that even their enemies avoided speaking their name aloud, lest fate itself punish them. Their symbol—a devouring serpent swallowing a black sun—hung high above the palace.

The Demon Queen, his mother, cradled him with trembling hands. She had carried this child in her womb for one hundred million years, and now that she gazed upon him, her icy demon heart melted into warmth.

"My son…" she whispered. Her voice carried the pride of a mother and the ferocity of a sovereign. "You were worth every century."

At her side stood his father, a man whose fury had once erased an entire multiverse. His eyes, usually colder than annihilation, softened when he gazed upon his son. "With this child, the Forbidden Lineage shall shake eternity once more."

The gathered elders bowed deeply. "All hail the Son of God of the Forbidden Lineage!"

But the child was no ordinary infant.

Inside, his soul stirred with laughter.

So this is it… rebirth. After trillions of years ruling alone, I now feel warmth… affection. A mother's touch. A father's gaze. How ironic.

Though his tiny body trembled and cried like a newborn, his mind was sharper than any blade. He was the Voidborn, the sole heir of the eternal emptiness, merely wearing the flesh of an infant.

For years, he lived the life he had longed for.

Where once he wandered in solitude, now he was surrounded by doting parents, protective ancestors, and a clan that treated him as their divine jewel. He was taught by sages older than galaxies, guided by matriarchs who commanded dimensions. He drank the blood of stars as milk, cultivated with treasures that lesser sects would kill billions to obtain.

By the age of ten, his cultivation had surpassed even peak Tao.

By the age of eighteen, he did the impossible—touching a realm beyond Zeroth Tier.

When this happened, the thirteen Zeroth-tier ancestors gathered, their voices shaking creation.

"This child has walked into a realm that none of us could reach… a realm hidden by Heaven itself!"

"The Son of God… the destined Sovereign of the Forbidden Lineage!"

And from that day, he was coronated as the clan's divine heir.

The coronation was a spectacle. Stars bent to orbit above the palace. Rivers of divine essence poured from the void, nourishing all who witnessed. Billions knelt outside the forbidden lands, begging merely to glimpse the heir.

As the black sun sigil blazed across the skies, he stood clad in robes woven from the silk of annihilation serpents. His gaze swept the crowd—not with arrogance, but with amusement.

So this is what it feels like to be cherished… to be exalted not as a tyrant, but as a son.

Yet, deep within, he knew.

He was not just a son of the Forbidden Lineage. He was the Voidborn.

The Final Villain.

And destiny itself would bend before him.

It was during the coronation feast that something stirred within him.

A whisper. A pulse. A familiar yet twisted presence.

In his sea of consciousness, lines of text appeared, glowing faintly.

[System initializing…][Scanning host… ERROR: Host not a chosen protagonist.][Reconfiguring parameters… WARNING: Host essence incompatible.][System corruption detected.]

He chuckled softly, unseen by the others as his eyes gleamed. Ah… so even here, a System has descended? But not for me… for a so-called protagonist?

The texts shifted, twisting under his will.

[System corruption complete.][Welcome, Host. You are now bound to the Villain System.][Functions modified: Tracking of Protagonists initiated. Villain Points obtainable by plundering fate, opportunities, and heroines.][New role assigned: You are the Final Villain.]

A soft laugh escaped his lips as he sipped his wine. "Perfect."

That night, when the celebrations ended, he withdrew to his chamber. He gazed at the black moon above, his thoughts drifting back to a distant, forgotten world—Earth.

There, as a lonely orphan, he had wasted countless nights on novels and anime. One memory flickered sharper than the rest: an anime titled Eclipse of Illusion.

A protagonist who had enraged him with weakness. A heroine betrayed, her clan slaughtered, her fiancé treacherous. A tale that had burned his mind with dissatisfaction.

His lips curled into a cruel smile.

"Since this Villain System can track parallel worlds… why not begin with a script I already know?"

The System pulsed.

[Target world locked: Eclipse of Illusion.][Warning: Host's cultivation far exceeds plane capacity. Laws may collapse if full body descends.][Suggested: Descend with soul fragment only.]

He chuckled. "A warning from the laws of a lower plane? Pathetic. I am the Voidborn. Laws do not bind me—they kneel."

Space split like glass. Endless void currents poured out, devouring the stars of the Forbidden Lineage for a single heartbeat before calming under his control. His entire body—soul, essence, and boundless cultivation—was drawn into the rift.

The multiverse trembled as he forced a lesser plane to accept his descent.

And in that fractured world, at the very moment a betrayed heroine lay dying in the ashes of her clan, a figure stepped from the void with eyes darker than eternity.

"From this moment forward," he declared, voice echoing across fate itself, "you are mine."
