Luna took more than thirty seconds to come back to reality, as she finally processed what was happening. During that time, Kagura kept her eyes on Luna's dazed face, thinking, "Did I mess up? I guess I'll have to play alone."
As Luna finally came back to reality, "Ahh!" Looking at the game, she couldn't hide her smile. "I can play this?" she asked as she took a step forward, closing the distance between them.
Kagura's shoulders relaxed. "Of course. Do you want to play with me?"
"Ye-" Luna suddenly realized she was getting too excited in front of a higher goddess. Her cheeks blushed slightly as she looked away. "If you really want to play that much, I guess I can give you company..."
"Nice." Kagura stepped outside the store, looking back at Luna with a smile. "Let's go." Seeing the sight before her, Luna blushed even harder. "Hmmf! I guess I have to... I'm only coming because of the punishment. Don't misunderstand!"
A chuckle escaped Kagura as she couldn't believe it. "A cute chuunibyou and a tsundere in one... This is the best!"
As they started walking, Kagura's eyes kept glancing at Luna's head, her fingers curling slightly a few times. She closed her eyes for a second, thinking, 'Ahh! I shouldn't pet her...'
Suddenly, someone grabbed that hand, a voice yelling, "How dare you walk around with our goddess?" Kagura looked back and saw the same chubby woman from earlier. She could only sigh. "What is this nonsense?"
Luna was surprised to see the chubby woman too. Kagura noticed Luna's expression. "Do you know her?" Luna nodded slightly, but before she could explain, the chubby woman grabbed Kagura by the collar.
"Don't worry, Luna-sama, I will save you from thi-" As her eyes met Kagura's face, she flinched beneath Kagura's cold gaze, her grip on the collar loosening slightly. Luna raised her hand, trying to step between them and save Kagura. "Stop... Zako-san."
But kagura grabbed her by the wrist and twisted it slightly. "So... who are you?" The woman whined in pain. "Ouchh... Aaah... aaoo... I'm the president of Luna-sama's fan club." Kagura released her grip, bewildered by her words.
"Fan club?" She looked at Luna. Luna hid her flushed face with her hands, slightly parting her fingers as she looked at Kagura before admitting, "I... I do cosplay sometimes..."
It took Kagura a single second to realize what was going on. "Ahh! That's what's going on." She towered over the woman. "So, what was it again... Zako-san? Listen to my advice."
She stepped forward, grabbing her tightly by the shoulder. "I'm in a good mood, so I'll let it go. And Luna is coming with me." Zako felt helpless as she looked toward Luna for help.
Luna's expression was clearly angry. "Zako-san, even if you are in my fan club, that doesn't give you the right to interfere with my personal life." Zako's face turned to despair as she said, "How can you say that? I'm your number one fan! I deserve to be with you more than this brute!"
"Stop right there." A sudden voice came from behind them. Kagura looked ahead and saw the same female police officer from before. She noticed that a small crowd had gathered, someone must have called the police.
Kagura quietly whispered, "Look, I'll spare you if you don't annoy me again. Just act like we're friends."
As the police officer stood in front of them, Kagura greeted her politely. "Hello again. Thanks for your hard work, officer." The police officer calmly asked, "Can you explain what was happening?"
Zako's nervousness returned, her chubby body freezing up, while Kagura began to explain. "Actually, we were jus-" But before she could finish, Luna pointed at Zako. "Officer, this person is bothering us."
Zako was shocked. She couldn't believe she had been betrayed by her goddess. Even Kagura was slightly surprised as Luna continued explaining what had actually happened, including her identity as a cosplayer.
Afterward, the officer arrested Zako. Even then, she still clung to a little hope. "How can you do this? Only I can be with you!"
Kagura immediately intervened. "Officer, do we have to come to the police station? We're actually busy." The police officer nodded. "Yes. We'd like to hear the details. Could you come to the police station?"
Kagura sighed, thinking, 'My game time...', feeling a little disappointed.
Thirty minutes later, thankfully, everything was quickly resolved, and the two of them were standing outside the police station. Kagura thought for a moment. 'This much happened... Will she still want to play?'
Looking at Luna, she asked, "Luna, do you still want to come play?"
Luna, on the other hand, was smiling, feeling relieved that she had done the right thing by punishing a bad person. Hearing Kagura's question, she answered, "Of course. An angel can't go against a goddess's punishment."
Kagura was genuinely stunned for the first time in a while. 'I've never seen someone like this before. And on top of that, she's still continuing with her chuunibyou setting.' She could only laugh at the sight of the girl in front of her.
As they walked together, they talked about the previous Tamashi no Game titles. Luna didn't realize how excited she was becoming as she asked, "By the way, which game space are we going to play it at?"
Kagura didn't understand what she meant. "game space? We're going to play it at my house."
Luna stopped walking, her eyes widening. "Huh? A higher goddess has a home in the mortal realm?"
Seeing Luna's confused expression as she asked the question, Kagura thought. 'Aahhh! I regret nothing.' Her hands moved at full speed as she started petting Luna's head. Luna let out a quiet, "Eee," her already-red face turning an even darker shade.
After a few seconds of petting, Kagura finally realized what she was doing, and her hands froze. Seeing Luna's face, she thought, 'Ah! I really messed up.' A drop of sweat slid down her forehead.
"Umm, Luna... let me explain." Before Kagura could say anything else, "S-Stop it! You're getting carried away!" a punch flew toward her. Kagura saw it coming and thought, 'I guess I shouldn't have done that to someone I just met.' The punch was slow enough for Kagura to easily dodge, yet she stood completely still and let it land against her stomach.
A second punch came, but this time, Kagura caught it with one hand. Raising her other hand defensively, her expression turned slightly nervous. "I'm really sorry. I won't do it again."
Luna puffed out her cheeks as if holding her temper in, then stomped her foot once against the ground. She started walking away. "Hmmf! I'll forgive you this once. Next time you do it, you better get ready to lose those hands."
Kagura was stunned by her words. 'Wahh... I should really be careful.' As Luna continued walking, she continued straight through the intersection. "What are you doing? Let's go to your home."
Kagura sighed in relief before smiling warmly for a few seconds. Then, seeing Luna continue straight, Kagura said, "My house is this way," pointing to her right.
Luna stopped… She stomped hard as she turned around and walked back, then turned left. "Hmmf! I knew it. I was just checking the mortal realm."
Kagura chuckled loudly and walked beside Luna. Her eyes lingered on Luna for a while, an amused smile appeared on her face as they continued walking.
