Chapter 25 - To Geaz

Reigh and Nine flew together at high speed using Reigh's wind magic.

They flew side by side, passing over treetops, villages, and cities.

Occasionally, there was some light conversation.

"The beauty of youth…" Nine murmured, but his voice could be heard by Reigh beside him.

"Sending letters to the beloved woman…" Nine tried to tease while throwing a jab, "It reminds me of when I was young and was given a single flower."

Hearing that jab, Reigh snorted softly. "Is that man still alive?"

Instantly, Nine's eyes widened. "How rude!" Nine snapped irritably, "Do you think I killed him?!"

Reigh chuckled. "Hahaha."

"You're Assassins, right… Is it allowed for two people to be in love?" Reigh teased back.

Nine grew even more annoyed. "O-Of course!"

"We're human too!" Nine shouted.

Reigh's face looked satisfied. "Heee…"

Suddenly, it went quiet for a moment.

In the middle of that silence, Nine began to ask, "What do you think about 'That', kid?" Nine asked.

Reigh's gaze shifted to Nine beside him. "'That'?" Reigh replied with a question.

"Have you arranged things about 'Them'?" Nine continued in a low voice, "About the people connected to Fiblio."

"Hm?" Reigh tried to understand what Nine meant.

A few moments later, "Oh,…" He began to understand, "That's already been handled by Hgier."

His gaze returned forward, staring into the distance. "But he's also not sure whether it will work or not."

Nine replied with a chuckle, "If you ask me, it'll definitely work." He said confidently.

Reigh turned with a puzzled look, "Hgier is very different from you." Nine added. "Even though you're in the same body, you're really different."

"HAH?!" Reigh snorted, immediately flying ahead of Nine, glaring at him with an annoyed look. "Do you think I'm dumber?!"

Nine quickly turned his face away when Reigh stared at him. He chose to stay silent and not respond to Reigh's words.

Seeing Nine not replying, Reigh also chose to stay silent and continued their flight toward Geaz City.

They flew past everything, the wind around both of their bodies rustling softly and gently. *Szzttt...

However, because of their speed, that wind instead looked like a fast-moving vortex with an extremely loud sound. *Fwooooshh... Brek. Bregh. Brek.

Reigh felt curious about something that was bothering him, "By the way," His eyes glanced at Nine, "How did you get to Cierliu City in such a short time?" He asked.

Nine turned his head, "Ah, that…"

Reigh raised an eyebrow, all he heard was Nine speaking hesitantly.

"Cyrn moved me with Teleportation." Nine answered.

He wasn't sure whether that answer would be acceptable to Reigh, because the one beside him wasn't Hgier who was easy to talk to about complicated things, but Reigh, who was merely a 17-year-old man without any understanding at all.

However, what Nine didn't expect was, "Teleportation?! Seriously?!" The man beside him shouted with eyes full of excitement.

"Y-You understand Teleportation?!" Nine asked hesitantly.

Reigh was enthusiastic, "Of course I know!" Reigh replied, "Do you think I'm stupid?!"

Nine averted his gaze, "R-Right…"

Seeing Nine looking hesitant, Reigh didn't care about it, "Is Teleportation something difficult?" Reigh asked, "Why does it have to be Cyrn?"

Nine's gaze returned forward, "He's different from us subordinates,"

"And only he can use Teleportation." Nine answered. "Teleportation can only be used by someone who has crossed the limits of logic."

Reigh nodded slowly, looking ahead, "I see."

Turning toward Nine again, "Will he teach me?!" He asked excitedly.

Guiver was currently fast asleep inside Reigh, so he couldn't hear their conversation.

If Guiver weren't sleeping, then Guiver would definitely be the most enthusiastic one to learn Teleportation.

He was someone who really loved challenges, no matter how difficult or impossible the process was, Guiver would definitely go through with it.

With Nine's claim that only Cyrn could use Teleportation magic, it would make him even more interested.

Moreover, Teleportation magic, which would certainly make traveling to faraway places much easier, would make Guiver even more interested in it.

Nine tried to think before answering Reigh's question, "Hmmm…"

"Maybe he would teach you." Nine said hesitantly.

Hearing that, Reigh smiled in satisfaction.

*Fwossh. Reigh increased the speed of his wind magic, as did Nine beside him.

Continuing to shoot forward quickly toward Geaz City.

Some time later, specifically after more than 1 hour, they were already fairly close to Geaz City.

Reigh slowed down his wind magic,

*Dssstt... Fwsh...

Placing his hand on his forehead, looking into the distance, "Woah… Pretty crowded, huh." Reigh exclaimed.

"Around 200 troops." Nine said.

The two of them were right at the edge of the forest, seeing the large number of soldiers surrounding Geaz City.

There were two gates in Geaz City, and they were used as entry and exit points for the city, namely the west gate and the east gate. And both gates had been completely blocked by 100 troops at each gate, so not a single person could enter or leave.

Reigh's gaze moved from one troop to another. "Their armor is really luxurious…" Reigh said half-murmuring.

"Are they going to war or a carnival?" He asked in confusion.

Nine did not respond to Reigh's words.

However, what Reigh said was indeed true.

The soldiers' armor they saw was indeed very luxurious, one could say it didn't look like armor used by soldiers ready to die.

Full body armor colored silver, with golden armor helmets followed by some kind of red cloth tied behind the helmet, then silver-colored iron boots as well.

And on the front of the troops' armor, there was a golden pattern depicting what looked like the emblem of the empire.

*Dsh... The wind magic around both of their bodies had completely vanished.

Reigh stepped forward slowly, "You want to handle them alone?" Nine asked.

Reigh only murmured softly. "Yeah…"

*Kretek. Kretek. Cracking his neck, fingers, and some stiff parts of his body.

"You just deal with the one person spying from that tree over there." He said.

A smile was carved on his face, "I don't want any interference."
