I have found that creating fan-fiction that takes place in its own series very very difficult. As someone who struggles with perfectionism in writing. As soon as I made any mistakes I found it very difficult to continue working on what was in my opinion, a flawed work (Even if it was completely fine and unnoticeable to most people). As a result this caused the quality of my writing to fall off completely.
I am taking a small break from Honkai: This isn't Star Rail to work on something new, set in its own original world, that way I can't make any minor lore inaccuracies!
This time I am also not following any strict word requirements, forcing me to add extra unrelated content or cut important scenes down so they fit within the word count. Of course, this one will be less introspective. But still contain some commentary on the "uniqueness" of some of these magical girl tropes.
Yes, it's a Magical Girl Fic! Featuring Stelle and Mem as magical girl and Mascott! I had this brilliant idea while thinking about writing another fic, in which the main character works for the villain organization in a magical girl story.
As for why exactly the powers of the paths, and Mem/Demiurge/Cyrene's Remembrance abilities work in this new world, don't worry about it! Blame the Goddess of Yuri.
