Chapter 38 - R18-Draco Malfoy SI cap 38

While the enemy wizards fought against their counterparts, the werewolves used their agility and ferocity to injure the guards and aurors.

The Malfoy family guards were good, but they were busy dealing with other wizards and it was difficult to keep their attention on the nearby werewolves as well, and they suffered some casualties at first.

Of course, they quickly recovered and restored order, gathering in groups of four or more to fight together.

The aurors of the French DMLE did the same.

Draco saw all this and sighed with relief that he hadn't arrived late.

But immediately a huge feeling of anger filled his body because someone dared to attack Narcisa again.

He didn't care that the real target was Apoline Delacour and that Narcissa was only involved by accident.

They had dared to attack the Malfoy family, and the blond boy would make them pay dearly.

Down on the mainland, both sides fought relentlessly.

No one noticed when huge black clouds began to cover the area.

And when they heard thunderous sounds, it was too late.

.

.

.

Inside the Delacour mansion, a group of people were gathered around the mansion's windows as they watched the wizards and werewolves trying to break through the barriers.

Among those people, besides the few French dawn chorus members, the majority were women.

In addition to Narcissa, Anna and the female bodyguards of the Malfoy family that they had brought with them, there were also the 3 women of the Delacour family.

"Mom, will Dad come to save us?"

The person who asked this was a very beautiful young woman with silver hair.

She was so beautiful that she could hypnotize any younger man with just one smile.

But now that beautiful face showed traces of fear and worry as she asked her mother.

The young woman was Gabrielle Delacour, the youngest daughter of the Delacour family.

"Don't worry, Dad will be here soon."

The one who answered was not her mother, but her older sister, Fleur Delacour, who was by her side.

Like her younger sister, Fleur possessed a supernatural beauty.

The reason for the beauty of both sisters was Veelas, a magical race characterized by supernatural beauty.

And if beauty wasn't enough, the Veela had an innate magic that could increase men's desire.

"Your sister is right, your father will be here soon," said Apoline Delacour, the mother of both young women.

But although her voice showed confidence in front of her daughter, the Delacour matriarch was very worried inside.

As the home of the head of the Delacour family and head of France's magical law enforcement department, the Delacour mansion had powerful protections, so the Delacour family matriarch was confident that invaders wouldn't reach them anytime soon.

But the reason for their concern was the hundreds of wizards and werewolves they could see fighting in the distance against the reinforcements that arrived to help them.

If it was only a dozen wizards trying to break through the barrier, Apoline wouldn't be worried.

But with hundreds of wizards and werewolves added to the mix, Apoline didn't know how long the barrier would hold.

Looking at her daughters, Apoline regretted bringing them back from Beauxbatons to take them to the event held at the Saint-Cloud palace.

Since their youngest daughter had turned 18, the Delacours wanted to formally introduce her to European high society and requested permission from her school to bring her home. And because she wanted to accompany her sister, Fleur came too.

"We're lucky you're here, otherwise the enemy would have captured us by now," Apoline said as she walked toward two women sitting on a piece of furniture. Specifically, toward the woman sitting calmly, sipping a glass of wine.

The woman was unperturbed, showing no fear. While the other woman was a little nervous.

The identity of the first woman is Narcissa Malfoy.

Apoline had met Narcissa about 7 years ago when the woman wanted to develop the Malfoy family's businesses in her country.

And since the Malfoy family needed an ally in France, Narcissa had chosen the Delacour family.

And during all these years, the two women had developed a great friendship outside of their business relationship.

Apoline was grateful to have invited Narcissa, who arrived with a group of bodyguards.

And if that wasn't enough, many more bodyguards appeared when the mansion was attacked.

If it weren't for these bodyguards who arrived later, the 30 Aurors who had come to the rescue would have been overwhelmed.

It was because of Narcissa's guards that hundreds of wizards and werewolves were busy and didn't have time to go after them.

Otherwise, the barrier should have already fallen.

"Don't thank me"

"Maybe those guys are here because of me and I ended up involving your family," Narcissa said ruefully while shaking her head.

Two years had passed since the last time she had been attacked, but Narcissa knew it wouldn't be forever and it could happen again at any time.

What she regretted was that she had possibly involved her friend and her family.

"You forget my husband's work," Apoline replied.

"Jean has offended many people, and it's more likely that these people are here because of my family."

Narcisa listened to the woman and agreed, but said nothing more because it was not the time to look for someone to blame.

"Will no more dawns come?"

The one who asked this time was Anna Parkinson, who was next to Narcisa and who got up to look through the window.

In the woman's opinion, 30 Aurors were very few compared to the enemy, who would have been annihilated if it weren't for the help of the Malfoy family's bodyguards.

The mansion of the head of the magical law enforcement department was under attack, but only 30 Aurors responded?

"The Aurors are very busy tonight," replied Apollon.

Although the woman was also upset with the slow reaction of the department led by her husband, it was because of her husband that she knew the law enforcement agencies were very busy.

As dozens of important people from all over Europe were gathering, the French magical enforcement department had the duty to ensure their safety and took their job very seriously, having no room for anything less.

The attackers had prepared for this operation, choosing to attack when the Aurors were busy.

"You're too nervous," Narcissa said.

"Come on, have a drink"

Leaving her glass on the small glass table in front of her, Narcissa took another glass and filled it with some wine before extending her hand towards Apollon.

Matriarch Delacour hesitated for only a few seconds before accepting the glass and taking a sip.

She was too stressed and thought that maybe a glass of wine might relax her

"Sister, it looks like it's going to rain."

Suddenly, Gabrielle's voice caught the attention of everyone present.

Through the windows, everyone could see how the sky was filling with black clouds.

"This…"

Fleur had no words to respond to her younger sister.

After all, the clouds in the sky were forming at an abnormal rate.

Fleur wasn't the only one who noticed this.

The other women in the room, along with the aurors, approached the windows and agreed that this was not natural.

"Mrs. Delacour, we have to leave the Mansion," said one of the Aurors, and his colleagues prepared to move.

"Mrs. Malfoy, we need to move too."

In the opinion of these Aurors and the female guards of the Malfoy family, the inexplicable movement of the clouds was the work of the enemy.

Although they thought the Delacour Mansion barrier could last a little longer, what would happen if the enemy's inexplicable actions managed to destroy it?

Therefore, they should prepare to escape.

While they could have joined their colleagues to fight the enemy, these Aurors' priority was to keep their department head's family out of harm's way.

The same applies to the female guards of the Malfoy family.

They had signed strict contracts and made binding oaths to strive to protect the members of the Malfoy family, in this case primarily Narcissa.

And since Anna is Draco's lover, they will protect her too.

In this case, the enemy was obviously making mysterious movements, so it was better to be safe than sorry.

"Okay, let's go," said Apoline Delacour.

She was not stubborn, so she agreed to follow her husband's subordinates.

She also believed that the movement of the clouds in the sky was the movement of the enemy, so she had no reason to stay and risk the well-being of her daughters.

His daughters and Anna Parkinson also believed it was best to leave the mansion

"There's no need"

Suddenly, as everyone moved to leave the room, Narcissa's voice made them stop.

"What do you mean?" Apoline asked, looking at her friend, who was inexplicably staring at her arm.

"Mrs. Malfoy, we cannot delay," said one of the Aurors, and one of the female guards also urged Narcissa to move.

"It's not the enemy," Narcissa said confidently as she walked to the window and looked out at the battlefield.

Apoline looked at her friend in surprise.

These kinds of situations were not times to waste time, and I knew the woman well enough to know that she wasn't stupid.

"Narcissa, do you know what's going on?" Apoline asked.

She too went to the window and saw that the black clouds had accumulated to a terrifying degree, obscuring the moonlight.

The battlefield was illuminated by the lights of the Mansion, which shone beyond the barriers and the fire and lightning spells cast by the wizards.

With so little light, the moonlight was very important.

Therefore, the sudden hiding of the moon was noticed by the wizards and werewolves on the scene, who began to stop because of the strangeness of the situation.

'Could it be?' Apollon thought.

"Did one of your guards do that?" Apoline asked.

In the woman's opinion, Narcisa's confidence was due to the fact that she knew that one of her guards was the author of the sudden movement of the black clouds.

"No"

But Narcisa's refusal worried Apollon.

And not only her, but also the Aurors and guards of the Malfoy family.

"Mrs. Delacour, we're withdrawing," said one of the aurors decisively.

"Mrs. Malfoy…" Unlike the Aurors, the Malfoy family's female guards had to obey Narcissa, so they were in a dilemma.

"Is he...?" And unlike everyone else's concern, Anna had also received Draco's message through her tattoo and tried to find him on the battlefield.

Unfortunately for her, there wasn't much light in most of it.

'Him?' everyone in the room thought when they heard the woman and wondered who she was referring to.

If the movement of the black clouds was not the action of the enemy or the Malfoy family guards, then who was it?

"It's him," Narcissa replied to Anna's question while also looking out the window for Draco's figure.

"Don't worry," Narcissa said, turning back to her friend and the other people in the room.

"We are safe"

Everyone wondered what Narcisa meant.

Suddenly, a crackling sound caught their attention, and they all moved closer to see several lines of lightning in the clouds in the sky.

"JUDGMENT"

And right at that moment, whether on the battlefield or in the hall, everyone seemed to hear a deep voice at the same time.

Soon, a surreal scene unfolded before everyone's eyes.
