Chapter 7 - Chapter 3: Down There? Nothing Down There!

Not only him, but even the other squad leaders were dumbfounded.

Gone? What does this mean!?

Chen Changchun suddenly squinted his eyes, waved his hand, and let everyone except the squad leaders leave.

Wang Chao wanted to leave with the others, but as soon as he lifted his foot, he found several hands on his shoulder.

He shivered, feeling that even if he were an idiot, he'd understand the atmosphere was a bit delicate.

Wang Chao turned his head to see the three squad leaders and Chen Changchun smiling at him kindly.

Suddenly, the six-foot-three tank shrank his neck like a chick.

Chen Changchun's always stern face now forced a very awkward smile.

"Chao, buddy, I don't quite understand what does..."

"What do you mean, 'gone below'?"

...

...

Meanwhile.

At a coffee shop in Hongfu District.

Xu Liang looked at the woman in front of him, deep in thought.

"You mean, your child is biologically yours, but a genetic test showed it's not your husband's?"

"So, you think your husband cheated?"

In the coffee shop, the young woman in front of Xu Liang nodded, full of anger.

A question mark appeared in Xu Liang's mind, he pressed it down and asked, "Well... do you have any... male best friends?"

"Yes, three or four, it's only a few, just friends."

"Have you slept with them?"

"No." The woman shook her head.

Xu Liang was surprised, feeling something was amiss, and after thinking for a while, asked, "Have you ever done that with them outside of bed?"

The woman suddenly became furious.

"They're my friends, what's wrong with helping them out if they're uncomfortable? Besides, what does this have to do with my issue?"

Xu Liang was both amazed and unable to hold back.

"Is there a possibility that you're the one who cheated?"

"How is that possible!?"

The woman was angrier, "Nonsense, are you even a lawyer?"

"Really, I'm being serious, you might not believe this, but..."

Xu Liang spoke sincerely, sat upright, took a deep breath, and seriously, objectively, and calmly assessed,

"You might be a bitch!"

"Splat!"

The woman got furious, splashing her coffee, but Xu Liang dodged in advance.

"Maniac!"

She cursed as she picked up her bag and walked out in her high heels with a 'clack clack clack' sound.

Watching the figure leave, and seeing the coffee stain on the nearby sofa.

Xu Liang smacked his lips, "Tsk, bitter medicine cures feelings, honest advice is hard to hear."

He sighed.

He couldn't help but feel a wave of exhaustion all over.

This whole day... why does he keep running into such crazy clients!?

"None of the clients are normal, there are cops at the law firm's entrance, no clients are coming in anytime soon, and I'm two months behind on rent... "

Xu Liang couldn't help but have a toothache.

"And even the rare special client I waited for, why did they have to die!?"

It made him feel a bit hopeless, thinking he was jinxed.

The bullhide book finally became effective once, hoping to explode some coins.

But the client turned into a popsicle, still stored in the funeral home...

"Sigh, life is tough."

He deeply sighed and stood up, preparing to settle the bill.

In a daze, his pocket started vibrating with a ringing sound.

"Huh? Who is this?"

Xu Liang took it out, glanced at the unfamiliar number on the screen, furrowed his brows, but didn't think much about it.

This was his work number, countless unfamiliar numbers called every day.

He immediately pressed connect.

As soon as the call connected, before he could say anything, the speaker instantly transmitted a vaguely familiar voice.

"Hey? Brother, down below..."

An urgent voice with a hint of pleading emerged.

"Down below? What's gone down below..."

Xu Liang: ?

"Wh... What down below?"
