Elder Shi paused and then continued, "In general, our science and technology are very advanced now. Whatever resource it may be, we can find ways to utilize it to the utmost extent, even down to particle collisions in the microscopic world. But this concept of Spiritual Qi has exceeded the scope of materialism. Our instruments encounter setbacks everywhere and can only play a supporting role elsewhere."
