The Dragon Descendant servants of Gavin's Alchemy were utterly humiliated by Westheid. Had it been a True Dragon dishing out the insults, they might have endured it. But to be bullied this way by a "lowly" human made the meager Dragon Blood in their veins boil.
Someone in the crowd was the first to throw a hammer, which zipped past Westheid's cheek.
Westheid, the target of the attack, showed no signs of panic. He simply turned his head calmly and said:
"It seems the situation is clear. There are far more enemy agents than we imagined. It's better to kill a thousand innocents than let a single one escape. Go on."
Reiya didn't even need to give the order. The Giant Dragons were already enraged by the assault.
No matter how much they disliked Westheid, he was a Star Fury favored by their master. For now, at least, he was their superior officer. 'How dare they attack him?'
'You've all rebelled!'
