Xie Yuan'an knocked on the room door, Mu Nanshu was mixing cold noodles for himself, wearing an apron, and came out from the kitchen to open the door.
"Sister Xie, don't you need to go home now? It's so late, and you're still here. Isn't Professor Xie looking for you?" Mu Nanshu asked.
Xie Yuan'an put on slippers: "My dad wishes I could get married tomorrow; he doesn't care about me now."
"Is this all you're eating tonight?" Xie Yuan'an saw Mu Nanshu eating simple cold noodles and felt a bit guilty.
"I brought this pickled chili from Long County, the taste is really good," Mu Nanshu said.
"Do you want to try it?"
"Is this that Xiang famous pickle you brought me last time? It's so spicy." Xie Yuan'an leaned close to smell, recognizing the chili scent.
"Yes, it's amazing with cold noodles, and Han City's hot dry noodles have more texture than our cold noodles, they pair even better."
