Judy Zimmerman started the car and asked, "So, where are we going now?"
"Let's go to the hospital first." Bella Acker turned her head to look out the window.
"Are you feeling unwell?" The car slowly drove off.
"No, just going for a checkup." Bella watched the scenery outside the window recede bit by bit and said softly, "To confirm something."
Judy looked at her expression through the rearview mirror and didn't ask further, focusing on driving instead.
The car stopped at the hospital entrance, and the two headed inside.
Fortunately, Bella's work hadn't been broadcast yet, and apart from some time spent trending on Weibo, not many people could recognize her in real life.
Judy accompanied her to find a doctor, fill out forms, pay, and then went for a blood test and ultrasound.
When the doctor asked questions, Judy knew what Bella was checking for, but she didn't ask much, only helped run errands.
