Luna Sutton followed everyone back to the mine in silence.
Corbin Crowley's silver eyes glanced at her pale face, a flash of tenderness in his gaze, as he gently tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear and spoke softly, "Still thinking about The Mad Dragon?"
She looked up at him and forced a smile, "No."
"Liar."
Zeke Veridian walked up, his voice cool, his emerald eyes fixed on her, "You're even staggering as you walk."
Luna Sutton pressed her lips together, no longer defending herself.
Kian Sterling chuckled lightly, his ten tails swaying slowly, speaking lazily, "If Luna couldn't bear it, she should have killed him straight away to avoid future trouble."
In her heart, she truly thought so: killing him would have solved everything, saving Mael Valerius from thinking about future troubles and sparing Luna from holding onto...
"Kian!"
Rhys Blackwood coldly warned.
Kian Sterling smiled slightly, knowing Luna couldn't bear it, and said no more.
