"Mr. Simon, should we have a talk?"
A question that made Simon look at Jiang Cheng in a different light.
"Jiang, how can I be sure you're not setting me up?"
Jiang Cheng smiled calmly.
"I have no evidence to prove my intentions, as I said, the choice to trust me is yours."
Jiang Cheng didn't say much as usual; leaving some things unsaid is often the best negotiation tactic.
She leaned back in her chair, her expression revealing nothing, her gaze unusually powerful, leaving Simon unable to discern anything.
But within, Simon had begun to trust Jiang Cheng's words a little.
Because Jiang Cheng wouldn't profit from this matter, or at least not yet.
Simon looked at Jiang Cheng again and asked, "Why are you helping me?"
Jiang Cheng gave a faint smile and looked at George, "Because Mr. George said you ultimately made a promise as an honest businessman."
Upon hearing George's name, Simon's expression softened somewhat, revealing a look of reminiscence.
"George helped my mother."
