After watching that episode, she had a transformative feeling about hunting, and it also changed her perception of the wilderness.
It turns out humans and nature can coexist harmoniously in such a state.
Yet this doesn't contradict the fact that she didn't recognize Li Younan standing right in front of her.
Just like many people in China had watched Roland's video of hunting bears in Alone in the Wilderness before Li Younan, but when Roland stood in front of them, they may not necessarily recognize Roland; it's the same principle.
Julian truly admires Li Younan.
Of course, this admiration is not the traditional kind of fan following idol worship.
Li Younan is more like a spiritual totem; his deeds and the way he harmoniously interacted with nature during his participation in Alone in the Wilderness inspired Julian, making her realize that human boundaries can actually reach such extraordinary lengths.
