However, the cat's sudden speech still took him by surprise.
Among magical creatures, there are many with intelligence comparable to humans, some even smarter.
But that does not mean these magical creatures can communicate normally with humans.
Take the Hidden Dragon as an example. As its life level increases, its intelligence will eventually reach a level similar to or even higher than that of humans.
Yet it still wouldn't speak human languages, only 'Lizard Language', and perhaps would naturally master Dragon Language after awakening its Giant Dragon Bloodline.
Unless someone patiently teaches it human languages, it's almost impossible to see a Hidden Dragon speaking human words.
So seeing a cat speak human words, Sunan was quite astonished.
Teaching a cat to master human languages is no easy task.
