The person approaching was Lance, the newly minted Platinum Knight of The Coldcrest Knights, catching everyone's attention.
The promotion decree had long been placed on Duke's desk, just waiting for his return to seal it with the family crest, for Lance to become the leader of The New Knight's Order.
However, Lance himself did not seem particularly happy; instead, he wore an expression of barely concealed urgency.
He hurriedly entered the meeting room while the two knights closed the doors, isolating the sound inside.
