Jenifer's POV
"Mrs. Randal, keeping fresh air flowing through the room will really help your breathing and speed up your recovery," I explained to her.
"Medication matters, but you need to get some fresh air and stay active. That's the best way to build your strength and feel more energetic," I continued.
I wheeled myself back toward Kolton after saying this.
The moment the window cracked open, the entire room transformed—crisp, clean air swept in. I watched Veronica's face relax as she drew deeper breaths, the tightness in her chest clearly easing.
"Thank you, Ms. Zach," Veronica said, her gratitude genuine.
I brushed off her thanks with a casual wave. "Don't mention it. Any doctor should step in when someone needs help. I mean, I don't have my license yet, but I've studied medicine, so lending a hand just feels right."
We didn't linger much longer before Grace guided us all back downstairs.
