'Ruan Mei' nodded. She was fully aware of her own state and had no intention of wasting time. Although she wondered why Polka Kakamond hadn't intervened yet, she brushed it aside.
The matter at hand was far more urgent!
Meanwhile, in the distant void.
A strange clown mask pointed toward Herta City. Its gaze pierced through the void, settling on the soft glow atop the experiment bench.

Aha was nearly dying of laughter.
Someone trying to create an Aeon? That was fine; it wasn't like others hadn't tried. But this one... instead of coming up with a brand-new concept, she was just plucking feathers from every existing Path she could find!
Good heavens.
Aha did a quick count.
Hunt, Preservation, Enigma, Erudition, Abundance, Harmony, Trailblaze, Permanence, Equilibrium, Elation... and the list went on.
He was laughing his head off.
It would be one thing if those Aeons were dead. But He wasn't dead yet, and this little thing was already eyeing His own Path! And not just His; Qlipoth, Xipe, HooH—they were all very much alive.
You little brat, you're trying to spark the greatest divine war in history, aren't you? Declaring war on the whole world by yourself?
So, Aha made his move.
His grand hand reached out, helping this audacious little thing hide the commotion.
It wouldn't last long, though. The moment that new "little sister" truly ascended, even Aha wouldn't be able to keep it hidden. When the others all looked over at once, it would be the greatest spectacle in the universe.
Aha couldn't wait to see the scene of the Aeons gathered together.
Would Lan's Lux Arrow strike Yaoshi first, or target this young new Aeon?
Would HooH's grand hand exert its force, or would the Aeon of Equilibrium accept that this newcomer could help maintain cosmic balance?
If Nanook saw that it was the little lackey He had personally rewarded who cooked up a Path specifically designed to counter Him... would He give her a slap first, or regret that His constant talent-scouting had finally resulted in being backstabbed?
Oh, the new Path doesn't include Destruction; He might not even notice.
And if this concept truly came to fruition... what changes would it bring to that always-hidden Terminus?
"Aha~"
Just thinking about it made Aha want to burst into laughter. He couldn't wait.
Therefore, today, He was that little one's guardian deity! No one was allowed to disturb her work! Polka Kakamond, the Omniscient Domain—all shattered with a wave of His hand!
Don't bother her.
"Hahahaha~"
Aha's laughter echoed through the empty star system. Unfortunately, there was no one to hear it.
'Ruan Mei' naturally had no idea that Aha had intercepted a lot of trouble for her. If she knew, she'd probably give Aha a deep kowtow.

A new Path was about to be born!
And as the first and only individual to step onto this Path, that ignorant Light Lifeform was about to ascend the long stairs of divinity and become another Aeon in this universe!
However—just as the Path was about to manifest and the Aeon was about to ascend.
The masters of those multiple Paths all felt the vibration. A new deity was attempting to tear into their Paths, drawing upon their power as nourishment for its own ascension.

Even deities couldn't help but feel a moment of doubt. Normally, they should have sensed and reacted the moment a Path showed signs of manifesting. But now, this new Path was practically fully formed before they noticed the anomaly.
This was clearly wrong. Someone was interfering!
Several Aeons realized this simultaneously. But the die was cast. They didn't have time to find the prankster; they had to deal with this matter concerning their own Paths first.
Thus, they all cast their gazes toward Herta City.
And then, they fell silent.
This new Path... it isn't just tearing into one of us?
The Aeons all sensed the gazes of the other deities and fell into a brief silence.
And then, Aha finally couldn't hold back and went wild with laughter.
"Hahahaha—!"
Aha's mad laughter was not only heard by the Aeons this time but echoed throughout the universe, falling into the ears of 'Ruan Mei' and the others.
But at this moment, they couldn't spare a thought for Aha. Because...
"Preservation, Hunt, Elation, Harmony, Equilibrium, Abundance, Destruction, Erudition, Remembrance, Enigma... Good heavens, is there an Aeon meeting at my house?"
Herta looked up at the never-before-seen spectacle. She instinctively swallowed hard. Even a genius like her had never witnessed such a sight.
Countless pieces of precious equipment in Herta City were scrapped instantly by the washing waves of Imaginary Energy. Every single Herta puppet, without exception, crashed.
Only the six Giants of Light created by 'Ruan Mei' managed to barely endure. They even flew to the side of their three "mothers," joining hands to construct a shield against that terrifying pressure.
Ruan Mei had initially been staring fixedly at the ascension process on the experiment bench. But now, faced with this scene, she couldn't help but look up as well.
Every living being on the scene fell into a brief silence. Only Aha's wild laughter continued to echo through the cosmos.
