With a bit of reflection on the story…I kinda…regret making Adam A SI-OC? It feels like it's something I added on top and could have just done Adam with Chaos Gacha altering him enough lol
I will be trying to post a chapter every week, and see how far I can go with that schedule, the next update should be next Saturday.
Slash!
ROAAAAAGHAAAR!
The sound of of a weapon slicing through the air before piercing through flesh, followed by the roar of a mighty beast.
In the distance from the source of conflict, the wild birds of paradise flew off, spooked by the scary sounds of death.
"-Why in the world did it just attack us out of nowhere?!" Called out the voice of a woman, a sharp tone of anger and yet had a quality of elegance to it.
Suddenly, the wind and the air seemed to spontaneously decide to shape itself into a vortex of dust and sky, a tornado as it attempted to move the creature into a more convenient location down a cliff.
Unfortunately, the creature itself was a tad too big for something like that to work other than provide a source of energy wastage to keep itself upright and unpulled by the drag.
A call from above, two figures swarming in the air above the creature that stood on two massive back legs but had two underdeveloped two front ones.
"Lily, I'm pretty sure the only thing on this thing's mind is how it wants to eat us, it HAD no other reason," The tallest one of the four said, Adam, as he floated up in the air, his golden eyes looking down at what looked to be a mutated-magic-snorting T-Rex, his current hair color being white, of pure focus and analytic.
The monster was a tad bit too colorful, all feathery, glowing unnaturally with what must have been mystic energy flowing through it.
It opened it's massive maw, a glow at the back of its throat as it made clear what it was going to do.
"ADAM! I'LL COVER YOU!" Said the woman in the back with literally flaming golden hair, as she raised her hands up.
Adam didn't waste a moment, nodding with complete trust as he beelined to the T-Rex, "GOT IT!" The beast aimed its gaping mouth at the First Man, and shot out a current of fire.
Spilling out of its mouth, like a tidal wave of flames, it spread and moved to burn and consume.
Only for the sea of flames to part as Eve from the distance move her hands in front of her slowly apart, the flames mimicking her as she sweated.
Out of harm's immediate way, Adam crossed the distance and with a massive amounts of force, enough to cause shockwaves, uppercutted the overgrown reptile.
"THANKS BABE!" Fire resistant he may be, but he sure as hell didn't want to resist it in the first place if he didn't have to.
The beast, now a lot more vertical, was losing it's balance now that it was disorientated.
Out of the bushes came out the Samael, the shortest, and the only inhumane of the four, pale as paper, has three pairs of wings.
Unhurt, but very much annoyed after being caught by surprise by that massive tail smack that sent him flying, knocking several dozen trees down.
"What in FATHER'S name is that?? It might resemble one of the angel's projects, BUT I SURE AS GRACE DIDN'T LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THAT!" As he raised a finger that lit up with light only a moment after, shooting a beam of light into its eyes, further disabling it as it roared in fury.
Lilith was suddenly in the air, jumping heights that a modern human could only dream of, gripping her spear, her form glowing royal purple.
"Sammy, darling, less talking, and more helping, you can complain about this later," as her form glazed with color, before she was shot down to the earth piercing the creature in the chest, its heart, letting loose a final rumble of anguish.

Ding! Platinum Random Ticket! Killed a Mundane Apex Predator (Dinosaur) enhanced by mutated magic.
[Trait Ticket]
Epic Item
A ticket that acts as a 6x Advantage Platinum Trait Gacha Ticket
[Utilizing Item, Rolling Options]
[One with the Blade]
Elite Trait
You are one with your weapon, whatever item you wield gets your physical stats added to its own stats. As long as you are holding it, that copper coin in your hands is tougher than diamond, a regular bronze sword could split the heavens as long as you are strong enough yourself.
[Relentless Stamina]
Elite Trait
Your stamina is ridiculous, even as a regular human you could run a marathon and not be winded, you also recover from exhaustion really fast and it takes a lot to get you exhausted.
[Mind Palace]
Legendary Trait
Your mind is a palace you have absolute control over, you are immune to all mind abilities below Mythical level, and you can freely control your own mind, possess enhanced thought speed and perfect memory. In addition you learn things much faster than the average person and can freely change your own mental scape.
[Glowing One]
Epic Trait
You passively absorb radiation with your body like a sponge, using it to fuel your body and energy and consuming it in the process. Absorbing enough radiation, such as Gamma Radiation, X-rays, and even ultraviolet radiation, will have an effect of permanently increasing your physical stats and energy reserves proportional to how much you absorb. You are also immune to the negative effects of radiation and recover stamina and energy faster when exposed to it. While sunlight would have a negligible effect, eating some radium chips would probably act like cultivation pills for you.
[Disciple]
Rare Trait
You are a great disciple. You learn things faster and easier when taught personally by someone who has a higher skill level than you in the subject in question. In addition, it is easier to earn the favour of your teachers.
[Greater Beastkin]
Elite Trait
Race Change - You are a greater beastkin, a creature that is half beast and half whatever you are. As a Greater Beastkin, you possess superhuman physical abilities and enhanced natural senses and instincts. You possess more affinity towards nature-based abilities and spells, allowing you to utilise them more effectively. Your Beast side is powerful too; even simple cat claws are tough as iron. (Chosen beast is decided by the writer, not an in-story choice)
…So the choice is between Weapon Buff, ridiculously slow stat growth by radiation, a learning buff, endless endurance, a literally FUCKING mindscape…and becoming a furry?
Like…the only viable one was One with the Blade, Disciple, and Relentless Stamina…and then Mind Palace.
It's Mind Palade no question, the immunity to high level Mind Control would have been worth it alone.
[Mind Palace Chosen!]
Adam felt the way his mind cleared up, already going from a cloudy misty room filled with random parts of feelings and memories that made up his mind change into a small library with Library Mind.
Now, it was a miniature of its own, not necessarily a palace like the name implied, but Adam could invision it to such an extent he could walk around inside in his own mind and explore it and decide how it looked like…while he was walking outside simultaneously.
It was at the same time, amazing, awe inspiring, and very fucking creepy like nothing else,…his head felt like a Tardis, where he was aware of its actual size and yet he could very easily tell that it was bigger.
It also didn't help…that he could now easily tell that his memories have been tempered with…or were eroded in the void, either way…he was missing a large chunk of bits and pieces of his life from the before.
Not that he was bothered anymore by it…it would have been nice to have, but the very act of him flying required him to learn to let go, so he was at piece for the missing pieces to remain missing.
The four of them gathered, Adam now on the floor as they observed the monster before them, an idea sparked in the First Man's mind.
He smirked cheekily, "Anyone up for Dinosaur Dinner?" As he watched in amusement their eyes brighten up instantly.
Eve giggled as she ran off in one direction, "I'll get the fire going!" Went to gather wood, fire…being a non issue for her.
Lilith, remaining ever graceful chose to instead walk, though with a little bounce in her steps that was almost unnoticeable, "I'll gather the spices, there should be some around here I spotted earlier."
The women off to with their decided task, Adam, and his angel of a sidekick Samael, vibrating in place ready to help.
Adam cracked his neck, "Alright, Sam, help me hang this thing to bleed it out by the time the girls come back."
"YOU GOT IT, A-man!" The seraph flew with his triple wings, finger pistol pointing at him with a wink.
With the two of them, they relatively easily tied the dead carcass of a T-Rex to the branches of the biggest tree, in the immediate vicinity, by its foot, before decapitating it.
Letting the blood flow free…before they disposed of the head, used to it or not, while Adam and Lilith were fine with dead bodies and hunting, Samael and Eve were not as unaffected as them.
————————————————————
The great outdoors were a lot more troublesome than some of the four had thought it would be.
Adam, however, with former knowledge and experience, very much found this to be expected.
Samael being a angel, basically a eldritch monstrosity with a strangely human-like, air-headed mind, was very much unbothered but…
The girls immediately noticed that there was no such thing as thermal regulations that the Garden of Eden seemed to always have on.
It was perfect temperature all day, all week and all year, so much so, our nudity just wasn't bothersome.
But out here? Oh the three noticed quick that that was not the case.
The warm sun before was now glaring harshly down at us with its beam, and the lack of it at night only invited the cold deep into our bones, the air depending where we were ranging from a variety of sensations.
From dry to humid, to even a sticky-like feeling to it when we were crossing a terrain that no one really liked.
Adam was only glad he actually planned ahead and prepared clothing to keep themselves warm and protected from the elements.
They also quickly learned that the animals out here were very eager to take advantage of their natural, developed deception and instincts.
Be it the time that Adam had to pull away Eve from a Dire Wolf that seemed to be made of shadow, seeming curious and friendly, right before the last second the beast tried to rip her throat out.
She still had a little trouble keeping in mind from time to time that these animals were not the Eden varients, and were very willing to kill to eat.
Be it the time, Lilith going on her bathroom breaks, stumbled upon a Bear—that was four times the fucking size of a polar bear FOR FUCKS SAKE—very much angry and rearing to go to tear her apart for crossing his territory.
…Speaking of bathroom breaks…Lilith was the only one that needed them, Samael, Adam—and by extension Eve who was made from his ribbons—simply…didn't need to go.
Which was apparently an endless source of humiliation for Lilith, considering when only she needed them, it was by her call when.
Samael's incident was at the very least the most amusing, considering he had Angelic Invulnerability, it was a lot less worrisome when they were rendered speechless that one time Samael stuck his head into a home of some sort of weasel with overgrown sharp teeth and for the life of the thrashing angel, couldn't get it off his nose.
Thankfully, at night the fire kept the fast majority of beasties at bay, but Adam sure as hell didn't want to take chances.
Which Eve and Lilith now very much more wary, agreed quietly, two of them awake at the time, while the others slept, before they switched.
Eve learned to stay a little back for us to attack up close, to better her spatial awareness, while trying to be as precise as possible…
She cried streams of tears and gave a waterfalls of "I'm sorry"s whenever she hit Samael or Adam, though they were mostly fine.
They were only glad that Lilith tended to stay more mid range, only crossing into close range for a strike before backing off.
Lilith herself, with help from all around, learned to use her own magic to help her fight.
…Adam still found it weird that Lilith was half bard, being able to empower herself because she hummed a lullaby or fucking BROKE INTO A SONG LIKE A MUSICAL!
Why the FUCK was there dozens of instruments yet to be invented playing?!?!
Otherwise, she only had one piece of magic working that apparently resonates with her core, increasing her gravity.
Nothing like Pein from Naruto where he can Push or Pull things away and to him, or something like that.
If anything, it was basically like the Kilo Kilo and Ton Ton Devil Fruits from One piece…except she can only, so far, temporarily increase her own gravity for a massive drop kick or spear plunge.
Adam on the other hand, didn't really…have anything to do other than improve his ability a little across the board, be it his hands, spear, or Airbending.
Samael, had a complete different problem…he had to regulate and limit himself as much as possible.
Any big, fuck off, attacks and Heaven would lock in on it and find us in a jiffy.
Several times, we had to find hiding spots and crevices to let the angels go on by, be it the ones with a bunch of interloping rings for heads, or feathers and animal heads instead.
Overall…it was a pain in the ass.
Though he got to admit, there WERE highlights.
Eden was basically perfect beauty, a paradise you will never find in the outside world, but the heights of mountains, the chaos of the rainforest, with even a waterfall in its own mini paradise…it had its own, more organic, beauty.
Like comparing a deliberate, calculated art that was carefully crafted and created to a natural wonder that just so happened to have a beauty to it.
————————————————————
It was later in the day, the sky has darkened considerably, the newly made bonfire burning hotly, as each of the four ate their T-Rex meat.
Simply talking, sitting, eating, and enjoying themselves together as they laughed.
