"Shit!" The girl shouted as the tv in front of her exploded into flames. "Good thing I did this outside…" she'd debated with herself earlier if going outside was even necessary, but her gut told her to just do it.
Her blonde hair was frazzled by the repeated attempts that only led to explosions.
She looked at the tv disappointed, she didn't expect it to work but doesn't mean she didn't hold out hope for it to. Magic was something she only started learning relatively recently, it wasn't too hard for her since she was always pretty good with math and all that.
But, she wasn't too interested in conventional magic. What she wanted to know was if magic and technology could be combined.
Could technological be advanced with the help of magic? She wanted to see. However, she was good at math, not actual science.
She didn't really want to change her college classes over this, so all she had to work with were books that she could barely understand. Though magic was cool and she loved learning it she didn't want to risk everything without a guarantee. If magic didn't work out she wanted other options.
"Should I just give up..? This is the 6th tv so far." She wasn't exactly rich, she really only made enough money for the bills, college, and food. All the money she got from her parents wills have already mostly been used up on paying off the house and fixing damage over the years.
These tvs were things she got from yard sales, or dumb people thinking it was broken when all it needed was a new screen.
Grabbing the hose that was next to her she turned it on and sprayed the burning tv with the water, putting out the fire.
"But, I want to see how far this can go…" She truly believed it was possible, she simply lacked understanding so she herself couldn't accomplish it.
"How far would you go to achieve this goal of yours?" A voice suddenly said behind her.
The girl spun around, instantly raising her palm to prepare the only offensive magic she knew.
'Huh?' She though it confusion. She was expecting some sort of strange creature to be behind her only to be met with a girl in strange clothes that was also floating.
They stared at each other for a moment the floating girl giving the other a amused look.
"…What did you say?" The girl said lowering her palm.
Grinning the floating girl replied "I said how far would you go to achieve that goal?"
The girl stopped and scratched the back of her head not really sure on how to answer "Pretty far? I wouldn't do something Like hurt or kill anyone but I'd like, steal maybe? I don't know."
The floating girl giggled a little then reached into what was seemingly thin air and pulled out a black sphere with purple circuit like lines flowing across its surface.
"Would you go as far as to…Abandon your humanity?" She asked holding the sphere forward.
The standing girl paused for a second then nodded "I mean, yeah? There's nothing really special about being human. As long as there aren't any downsides like having to eat people I don't see why changing races is such a bad thing. The only thing is that I won't be related to my parents anymore, but well, they still brought me into this world and that's all I really need to remember them."
The floating girl smiled a bit, already anticipating this answer "Then let me give you this offer. Join me and my organization and I'll give you this. It'll transform you into a mechanical life form known as an Ex-Machina. You will be able to analyze magic and recreate it with technology beyond this world. But, with this power you must work toward keeping this world safe."
The girl dropped her hose in shock, "Um, what? I don't understand, this is going way too fast."
"Simple, join me, get this orb, use it, you'll get power but change races, you must follow my rules and not use these powers to harm innocents." Breaking it down into simple terms the floating girl shrugged.
"Okay… but uh, why are you asking me specifically? I'm no one special at all."
The floating one rubbed the side of her temple a bit, a little annoyed though she was already expecting this.
"Does that really matter? There aren't any downsides to this for you, you said it yourself, whether your special or not doesn't matter. I chose you because I wanted to, there's no rhyme or reason behind it. Do you want this opportunity or not." Her frustration was bleeding through her tone very clearly.
Noticing this the blonde girl threw away her reservations "…I accept…"
"Good." Tossing the orb to the blonde she continued as the girl caught the orb "simply say use."
Raising the orb to her chest the blonde smelt out a breath "…Use"
A violet light lit up the backyard as both the blonde and the orb began to glow. Mechanical tendrils too large to be possible burst from the orb and completely engulfed the girl, blocking her body from view.
The tendrils burst outward lashing out in all directions.
"Hmm, good thing I pulled us into a separate space beforehand." The black haired girl said.
The tendrils beat across the yard and tried to hit against the house though a barrier stopped it.
Slowly but surely the tendrils retracted back to the center and eventually fully returned to the once fully blonde haired girl. Her hair remained blonde from the top then slowly flowed into teal.
Her eyes were now golden with a red outline.
Circuit lines ran across her entire body, and both her shoulders had metal disk like object on them.
On the left side of her was a mechanical gear like object with blue circle floating where it was pointing, resembling a halo. Her clothes blocked any other changes from being seen.
"Woah…" Were the first words out of her mouth. She raised her arms and looked across them and began feeling across her body as well. "Everything's so different.."
"Yes, yes. You're an entirely different being now, it'll feel different for a while." The floating girl said.
Raising a hand a void black snake slithered from inside of her jacket and zipped over to the new Ex-Machina, it floated through her body and settled around her soul.
Snapping her fingers the space returned to earth.
"I have a few more things to do today so I'll be sending you to a different place, get used to your new abilities for a bit. You'll meet some people there, they'll explain the rest." The floating girl vanished once she finished speaking and once the newly changed girl blinked she saw herself in an entirely new area.
A beautiful field of pink flowers as far as the eye could see, even with her new eyes she couldn't see beyond the pink.
At what she presumed to be the center of field was a massive white tower shooting above the clouds.
"What the…"

"That makes 2 so far… This will be the last for now, then I'll wait for Amterasu's reply then move from there." Ophis said to herself.
She now stood on the pure white clouds leading to the gates of heaven.
"Honestly, no wonder nobody could ever invade these guys and figure out Yahweh is dead, even for me this place was pretty hard to find." Ophis scratched her head at that fact, Yahweh went to many lengths to make sure Heaven could never be invaded.
Unlike many other dimensions separate from the human realm, this realm was completely separate from Earth.
Other dimensions acted similarly to "parallel" worlds that are still connected to Earth in some way, Heaven however, was entirely its own dimension. Only thing still connected was its Space-time, but every dimension had to have at least the Space-time connected. Full disconnection means they'd have no connection to the planet and couldn't collect souls.
Walking up to the golden gates Ophis tapped it a few times then waited.
Pulling up her inventory she scrolled through the items she'd gotten from the gacha a while ago, she'd ended up doing a 10 pull since she sorta just had points sitting around. She of course notified the others beforehand and got Shiro, Gudako, Sora, and Subaru to watch.
All the items she got were.
Mystic eyes of Death perception - An Ability that allows the user to see the lines of death, when those lines are traced and cut it will instantly "kill" whatever was cut.
Earth Manipulation - A skill, it allows the user to manipulate the earth element at their will.
Wind magic(Re:Zero) - Ability that allows the user to use wind magic. All related spells will be given to the user, however, mastering them and innovating is up to the user.
Flame Domination - Skill, the upgraded version of the flame manipulation skill. It gives the user complete control over fire and everything related to it such as heat.
Thought acceleration - Skill, it allows the user to increase their thought processes. There is no upper limit, simply based on the power of the user and their mastery over the skill.
Demon lords Haki - A skill that allows the user to exert their aura with spiritual power. It allows the user to inflict magical statuses onto opponents and kill them directly if they are weak enough.
Authority of pride - An ability that allows the user to "punish" someone based on the users sense of right and wrong or if the opponent feels guilty about something they've done. The user may freely removes the body parts of these people and deal considerable damage to them without them being able to resist, this is dictated by one's own power however. If the user is hit while not expecting it the authority will automatically activate and disintegrate the opponent, though this affect varies in effectiveness based on the threat to the user.
Sense heat source - A skill that allows the user to sense any and all forms of heat reactions in the users range.
Ars Paulina - An ability that grants the user the ability to use the Noble phantasm, Reality marble - Ars Paulina: The Time of Crowning Has Come, He Is the One Who Begins. It is a Reality marble that exists outside of the universe and beyond time. Within the space of the reality marble true death cannot be registered and anything that dies within it can be revived with enough energy, including the user.
Excalibur - The Golden Holy Sword of Promised Victory. It is a divine construct created in the inner sea of the planet, it is the crystallization of the wishes and hopes of mankind and the will of the planet. This Excalibur is without any seals, capable of unleashing its full might at anytime. With its True name unleashed it becomes an Ex-Rank noble phantasm with the properties of Anti-Threat to Humanity and Anti-Threat to the Planet.
She was extremely surprised when she saw the last two, she got Laevatein now even Excalibur. She thought Ars Paulina and the Mystic eyes were cool too but she didn't really have that much of a use for them just yet.
When she'd read excaliburs description she'd instantly gotten a notification from the chat group saying through the use of points she could make it so Excalibur recognized all opponents as Threat to humanity and Threat to the planet. It only cost 150k and she had 300k still after the 10 pull so she did it. Making Excalibur as strong as it could possibly be at all times.
"Hmm, 5 things I can give away without worry." She wasn't interested in flame domination, Earth manipulation, pride authority, or demon lords haki. Giving them as incentive for people to join her was more useful anyway.
Flicking away the inventory screen Ophis finally sensed a few energy signatures coming her way. Decently large ones.
The gates opened slowly to reveal the current leader of Heaven himself, Michael. Alongside Gabriel, another one of the Seraphs of heaven.
"Yo." Ophis said with a wave. "I have something I want to discuss if you all don't mind."
Gabriel waved back with a smile and Michael nodded. "What is it that you wish to discuss? This is quite different from what we were expecting." Michael replied in slight surprise but held a smile nonetheless.
Snapping her fingers Ophis pulled them into a separate space.
They instantly went on guard, she didn't mention changing places after all.
"No need to worry, it's simply that what I'm here for is not yet going to be public to the supernatural world. Can't have anyone eavesdropping." Ophis explained, they didn't relax their guard fully but weren't preparing to attack anymore.
"I'm sure you both know who I am at this point, apparently I'm pretty famous, I hadn't even known until Hades told me."
"The Ouroboros, father warned us about you." Gabriel answered.
Nodding Ophis continued "My name is Ophis, and yes that is who I am. I've come here today to ask Heaven or more specifically the Seraphs, to join my organization. Its name is Workd Serpant."
Both Michael and Gabriel looked confused.
"What is the goal of your organization?" Michael asked.
"There are three main goals, however, the most important ones for now is firstly the protection of this world from outside threats. As we speak entities from outside our universe are attempting to breach the universal barrier. I'm sure you've heard about the Devil boy from the Phenex clan going missing right?"
They both nodding having heard of it on the day it happened, the Phenex family was distraught and the underworld was in chaos for a little bit.
"It was my organization that got rid of him. You see, he was a link sent by those entities into this world. The one inhibiting the body of the Phenex kid was a person from a different world sent by those entities. The longer they exist within this world, the more firm the connection becomes. after a certain time has passed, the barrier can easily be destroyed and that would spell doom for this entire world." Ophis finished explaining with a serious expression.
Both Michael and Gabriel's eyes were wide at this point, the thought running through their minds was simply "Why don't they know about this?"
As if reading their minds Ophis responded "Because it's something beyond your Authority. The only ones who know of it are Great Red and I, Alongside the rest of my Organization."
"What are the others goals?" Gabriel asked after taking a breath.
"The other main goal is to reveal the supernatural world to humans. Humans make up a majority of the population of all creatures on this planet. Combining every race across every pantheon then that makes up only a few hundred million. The human population more than doubles that at over a billion, if even a 1% of them are talented at magic or have other unique abilities, the worlds safety becomes a lot more secure." She explained this one very simply.
Again they were surprised "That is… quite interesting Ms.Ophis." Michael replied.
Smirking she shrugged "Think about it, even though humans are weak that's only because barely a few hundred thousand even know about the supernatural world, the Strongest humans have all been sacred gear wielders but even then they barely make it past ultimate-class more often than not. Out of the hundreds of thousands several have reached Ultimate class, now what about a billion? Would at least not a few reach significantly higher? Of course this would end up being dangerous for other factions but I'll take care of that when it comes to it."
They looked thoughtful at her explanation, seeing the logic in it.
"It does make sense I'll admit. May we know who has joined this organization?" Michael asked.
"It's pretty new so there aren't many, just Great Red, a Devil peerage, and two talented humans. I've already invited Amaterasu of the Shinto faction and I will be inviting the Azazel and the Satans as well. To be clear, I'm not expecting you all to join as Heaven as a whole, but rather just the four Seraphs, we can see about expanding once the foundations are fully set. If you join that is." She corrected herself at the end.
They looked between each other then looked back at Ophis "We'll discuss with the others and give you an answer then." Michael decided.
Nodding Ophis snapped her fingers returning them back to Heavens gates. "By the way, Angels are not safe from being taken over. So be careful, if you see anyone acting more strange than before, memory loss for seemingly no reason, asking questions they should definitely know, or developing new abilities they've never had then they may not be the same Angel anymore." Finishing her warning Ophis opened a rift in space to the dimensional gap.
"I'll be busy for the next few days so after I'm done I'll come visit for your answer." Stepping through the rift it vanished.
Michael laughed a bit "This was really not what I was expecting from the Ouroboros. Father would've been surprised."
Gabriel followed with a giggle of her own "Definitely."

"How should I start this? Training is such an interesting subject to ponder." She's basically fully mastered her authorities except of course, Nothingness. What she needs right now are mostly just fundamentals. But even those, it's simply about her lacking range. She could sense things just fine, just not across dimensions like she should be able to.
"But, not that I'm thinking about it that should be easy." There are several ways to sense things, firstly using your energy similarly to that of a radar, sending out almost undetectable pulses outwards, anything hit by the pulse can be sensed. Secondly, Enhancing your "senses" with one's Mana or other form of energy it allows the user to sense from extreme ranges. And thirdly, is to expand one's consciousness to a much wider range, it functions the same as enhancing the senses but this one you can physically see what you're sensing.
The one Ophis is using is the second one, simply "enhancing" her ability to feel the energy and presence of everything around her.
"All I have to do is enhance it with my authority and I can sense between dimensions easily."
Focusing, she combined infinity and space into her sensing and then expanded her range.
Her sensing cut through the void of the dimensional gap, through the human world, through The underworld, through heaven, through the nine realms of the Norse, through the divine realm of the Hindu, through Olympus, through everything. She could feel everything all at once. If she had a brain to overload it would've probably already melted.
"Holy shit." She flinched a little in surprise and pulled back her sensing. "That was a little much."
She'd seen a lot of things she really didn't want to see. People are freaky as hell.
"The dragons are already mating…so I guess that's good. Not something I ever want to to see though…"
Wanting to clense that from her mind she decided to focus on something else for now. But that was really the main thing she needed to do. The issue she had was not being able to sense over a wide range so she kept having to ask the system to do it for her.
"Hmm, thinking about it now…System do you have name? I've never thought about it until now." She's just been calling it the system up until now. She remembered there's always those cringey name the system parts in stories.

"Arashi? Cool name, alright I'll be calling you that then." Ophis replied with a nod.
Moving on she decided she'd just start nothingness now. She'd been putting it off for a while now.
She let her body float into the lotus position and let out a breath.
She focused into herself and her entire being and began focusing an Nothingness.

Time, space, gravity, mass, energy, dimensions, life, possibilities, all things are continuously "Nothing" even as they exist as "Something."
It is the ultimate paradoxical "existence".

Ophis's eyes snap open with a gasp.
{You almost just made yourself into this worlds 「 」, I pulled you out before you finished. Though you'd have gain quite the boost in power, the DxD Multiverse is not your limit, this would restrict you to this multiverse. You wouldn't have to worry about the Outer Gods attempting to invade anymore though.}
"Yeah, thanks. That was way too close." Getting herself out of the lotus position she let out a sigh, she still had her revenge to do, couldn't go doing this just yet.
Ophis felt her Nothingness authority blasting through her entire body and existence. It was to be expected, it's an authority stronger than her other two combined and blasted to the maximum. With it, she felt she could do everything she could do before except certain things with Infinity. But that's probably just because she was thinking creatively enough.
She could feel it as well, she'd grown quite a lot. Even though she didn't fully become Nothingness she still gained quite a lot for reaching it.
"How long was I out?" She asked, knowing she was probably in there for quite some time.
{3 days. You missed a mission while you were out but I deemed this more important. Amaterasu also requested your presence through your snake, I answered for you, replying that you are busy for now.}
"A mission? That's unfortunate, as for Amaterasu I'll go to her tomorrow." Ophis decided.
Pulling up the chat group Ophis saw that almost everyone was online.
"Let's see what happened on the mission."

Hello! Sorry for the Late chapter, this should've been out ages ago but I got caught up in a bunch of stuff and was busy, I've even barely been able to read as much as I used to these last couple weeks.
Next chapter is going to be about what happened on the mission, I haven't decided yet on which world to go to so you can suggest if you want as this mission doesn't take place in any of their worlds. Anime, Manga and Manhwa only and also think about the current power level of the cast, so something like dragon ball is a pretty big no.
I'll be very busy soon again ngl, I'm starting college in August so my schedule my become even worse. I'm gonna disintegrate ngl.
