In the place called Golgotha outside of Jerusalem, a man was stripped and nailed to a cross. In his head is a crown made of thorns and blood runs in his forehead. Wounds made by whips are scattered all across his body.
He was pale while looking down at the people, the soldiers who condemnd him.
He looked up and said "Father.. Forgive them; for they know not what they do..."
At his both side were convicted thieves, also crucified.
Gesmas, the bad thief mocked Jesus. "If you really are the Christ, the child of God, free yourself and us."
In which Dismas rebuked then pleaded to Jesus. "Lord, please remember me when you come to your kingdom."
And the man Jesus replied. "Today, you will be with me in paradise."
After Jesus promised Dismas that they will be in paradise, Gesmas continued to mock the Christ.
Dismas, to hasten his death, had his leg broken by the soldiers.
Jesus then said his last words. "Father, in your hand I commend my spirit..."
A while later, Jesus died.
A blind man named Longinus, a soldier, poked a spear in Jesus' chest in which blood and water flowed. The blind man's eyes were splashed with the Christ's blood and healed him.
He muttered. "Truly, this was the son of God..."
