Chapter 1 - GODS

The planet Eryndora hung at the farthest edge of the divine cosmos like a shimmering jewel. Forged by the First Pantheon and refined across millions of years, it was unlike any world in existence—alive, sentient, and saturated with raw divinity. Forests of iridescent crystal towered over ancient plains, mountains pierced the heavens, and rivers of pure life essence flowed like glowing veins through the world's body. It was paradise, home of the gods.

Each deity of Eryndora maintained a sacred duty.

Hikaritsu, God of Radiance, fueled the blazing sun-core at the planet's heart.

Midoriya, Goddess of Verdure, shaped forests that birthed flora imbued with divine consciousness.

Takaro, God of War, forged battlegrounds of living metal where the younger gods trained in combat.

Arashihime, Queen of Tempests, conducted storms that carried messages across realms.

And in the void peaks dwelled Kuronaga, the dreaded Void Tyrant whose power was feared and respected in equal measure.

But once every millennium, Eryndora underwent a sacred transformation.

Auroras darkened.

The planet rumbled.

And an ancient sigil carved into its mantle ignited in celestial fire.

The Seishin Kettō—the Tournament of Spirits.

Created by the First Pantheon, the Seishin Kettō determined the Supreme Deity, the god chosen to shape Eryndora's growth for the next thousand years. It was revered as the greatest test of divinity—one that forged legends, ended dynasties, and rewrote fate.

This millennium, the Kettō awakened earlier than expected. Elder gods whispered of omens, of unnatural shifts in the world's flow. There were rumors that something impossible had occurred—something that had not happened since creation itself.

The disappearance of the previous Supreme Deity, Saigami, one century ago.

No one understood how a being of his magnitude could vanish. Supreme Deities didn't die—they simply transformed. But Saigami had left no remnant, no trace, not even an echo in cosmic memory.

The Kettō had responded, awakening ahead of schedule to fill the void.

At the center of this unfolding destiny was a young god barely 200 years old—an infant in divine terms.

Kaizen—the God of Potential.

Unlike other gods, Kaizen's domain was not elemental or physical. Potential was abstract, formless, undefined. His power fluctuated wildly, sometimes overwhelming, sometimes vanishing entirely. Even his appearance shifted subtly depending on who beheld him. Many gods dismissed him as incomplete, unstable—the Undefined One.

But beneath the ridicule lay a silent fear. Potential was unpredictable. Dangerous. Limitless.

Kaizen avoided conflict. He lived in a quiet floating shrine atop the cliffs of Dawnlight, observing Eryndora's gods and cultivating his strange gift. He yearned to understand his purpose, to discover what he could become.

When the orb of divine law materialized in his chamber, glowing with sacred authority, he felt his heart freeze.

"KAIZEN. YOU ARE SUMMONED TO THE SEISHIN KETTŌ."

There was no questioning it. The Law never erred.

Across Eryndora, gods reacted with shock, curiosity, or rage.

Hikaritsu: "Even the youngest are called… this will be unlike any Kettō before."

Midoriya: "The planet trembles. Something is coming."

Kuronaga: "A child enters the arena of gods? Hmph. Let him perish."

As Kaizen stepped out of his shrine, he felt the world thrum beneath his feet. Eryndora itself was awakening, as though bracing for a storm.

Deep beneath the surface, in ancient darkness, something opened an eye.

Kaizen had no idea he was the key—whether to rebirth or annihilation.

And the Seishin Kettō had already begun.
