"Huh? "
Suddenly immense pressure surrounded me. I clenched my fists and was somehow trying to breath under that pressure. From the corner of my eye I could see Elwyn talking to Luna and other elves doing their work peacefully without feeling any pressure.
It was like this pressure was only for me.
'What in the hell is this? '
My whole body was under sweat now. My fists were clenched, my teeth were gritted and my toes were tighten to the point that I could feel my muscles soaring up. But the pressure wasn't reducing even a bit.
And then Luna's eyes moved to me. There was a cold expression on her face. But then that expression changed to smirk.
And with that smirk she said to Elwyn, "Oh my, this puny creature is having trouble breathing under my presence. "
Elwyn confused looked at me. But then his expressions changed to anxious and panicked as if he forgot about me and now realised his mistake.
With panicking and in a haste he said to Luna,
"Hey, Luna. Can you please reduce your pressure for him? He's the player I told you about that day. "
For some reason Luna felt a guilt, she was surprised to hear that. And in that guilt she took a step back, her right hand on her lips and with a look of pity as if mocking me she said, "I am sorry puny creature. I forgot that you also exists. "
Elwyn as if scolding her said, "Hey! Don't bully him now. "
The pressure suddenly disappeared all of a sudden. My fists were no longer clenched, my teeth were no longer gritted and my toes were no longer tighten. But there was one thing which remained—the sweat on my body.
I took heavy breathes and looked at Luna. She was taller than me and she was stronger than me too—a lot stronger than me.
Her presence alone was enough to kill me as it holded immense amount of pressure.
But before I could even calm my heart down, she leaned forward and her face came really close to my face. Startled, I took a step back and leaned back a bit.
"Why are you so scared of me, puny creature? "
I was having trouble answering her. It was not like that I didn't have any answer for her question, but it was that I was too scared to say anything. What if I made her angry, then what? She would kill me. What if I said something wrong, then what? She would kill me.
Luna's personality is really complicated. Sometimes she becomes really cold, really introverted but then sometimes she becomes really playful, really extrovert. And no, it had nothing to do with her periods. There was something totally different about her from all the other elves and beings.
She alone stood at the top of elf race but despite that there was one thing which never came into her life—arrogance.
Well, I couldn't keep her waiting for too long and so with hesitated voice I replied, "Uh.. I... I am not really.. scared of you. It's just.. I am a bit startled by your immense presence. "
She leaned back, her both hands on her waist and her expressions changed suddenly. It looked like she was kind of disappointed after hearing my words. I could see from the corner of my eye that Elwyn himself was kind of nervous. It was like I was digging up my own grave. The feeling, it was really disgusting and ridiculous.
Imagine you are standing infront of a road. You can see up ahead there's a desert and behind you there's mountains covered by snow. At your right there's an endless path and at your left there's nothing but an endless pit. In all sense, wherever you go, at the end of your path you will meet with death.
It was same in my case. Right now whatever I say would result in my death and so I had to choose my words carefully.
Luna gave a heavy sigh full of disappointment but then again a smirk came on her face.
"You are an honest one, aren't you? "
Elwyn gave a heavy sigh too after hearing her words. But his sigh was totally different, it was full of relief. I didn't understand the situation I was in. It was quite confusing, really really confusing.
What was going on? Don't ask me, I also don't know.
"You... you could say that. "
Her smirk grew larger. Now the thing which standed out the most about her after her breasts was her big smirk on her face. She extended her right hand towards me and said, "My name is Luna... Luna Wintersong. Nice to meet you, dear player. "
Another confusing situation. A second before her face was full of disappointment but now she had a big smirk and she was even ready to shake hands with me, someone who is totally powerless against her.
I knew making her wait would be a death sentence for me and so I shook hands with her right away with my introduction.
"Nice to meet you too Ms. Luna. I am Sa—Airu."
Her expressions became kind of complicated. She was like kind of surprised to hear me calling her 'Ms. Luna'.
"Ms. Luna? You don't have to address me so formally. Just call me Luna, Airu dear. "
Despite having such hot body, her hands were pretty cold. When I pulled my hand back, my palm turned totally red from the coldness of her body. It was like she was a mannequin of ice.
Now I was speechless. I didn't know how to continue the conversation as there were many things I wanted to ask her but there was not a single thing through which I could start it up.
But to make things easier for me Luna asked in a gesture as if giving me something but her hands were empty, "So, what level are you? "
'What? But why is she asking me about my level? '
Before my brain could even process my own question, Elwyn spoke while rubbing his head, "Well then, I have some business to tend to. I'll take my leave. You both enjoy yourself. "
Leaving me alone with her, he went away to his own work.
Now I was all alone with that ice elf. I was so nervous that I could even hear my own heartbeat and maybe she was also able to hear it but didn't let it show.
THUMP THUMP THUMP
My heartbeat was going wild. And again it was not good for me to make her wait longer.
"I.. I am at level 19."
Now her gesture changed again. Her both hands were now crossed balancing both her breasts on themselves. Her expressions were kind of admiration. And with that admiring expression she praised me, "Level 19? Not had. And you only finished your first quest, right? "
My expressions were still full of nervousness. I was just trying to cover it up but still I was not able to. But I had to answer her question and so I did, "Yeah....? "
In that same gesture and her expressions becoming full of admiration she praised me more, "That's amazing. You are really amaziny, my dear Airu. "
' "My dear Airu"? '
'Has she lost her mind or what? Why is she acting all so nice. Don't tell me she's planning to seduce me and take advantage of me.
And with this thought, I lost in the imagination of her doing it. And that was not terrifying, for some reason a part of me was wishing for it.
I shook my head to snap out of those unholy thoughts.
'No, don't imagine such a thing right now dumbass. Focus on the situation infront of you. '
"Hey, what happened? " with these words she snapped her fingers infront of my eyes. With that snap I came out of my inappropriate thoughts.
There was just nervousness and a sense of guilt on my face. It was like I was caught imagining those things but in reality I wasn't.
A soft breeze of wind passed my ears and my face slowly turned red. Controlling the situation, I replied, "It's.. it's nothing. "
Without wasting any more time, she asked me another question in that same gesture.
"What weapons do you hold Airu? "
'Why so much questions, is she going to train me or what? '
I didn't have any courage to ask her this question straightforward and so I could only ask this kind of question to myself but not to her.
Rubbing my nose with my index finger I replied, "Well, currently I have Rodrigo's Wrath which I got from the gacha and I also have Sword Of Miscellaneous Saplings which I got from killing the Forest Elf Flower Thorn. "
She was kind of surprised to hear that. That same cold wind breeze passed through her hairs moving them in a rythm. She was really really beautiful. I never saw someone as beautiful as her. It was like I was slowly falling for her.
With those surprised expressions she asked me, "Did you actually kill that boss? "
This time I was rubbing the back of my head. I was so nervous infront of her for some reason I don't know. My heart was racing so fast as if it was about life and death. My face was reddish now.
And so I answered, "Yes, I did. "
She bent a bit towards my face, I took a step back, a smirk came on her face which looked really evil. My face was totally red by now. Both my hands were infront of me as if I was ready to push her back if she tries to do something.
With that same smirk on her face she asked me, "Say, wanna have a duel? "
A duel with the strongest elf. You are kidding me, aren't you?
'I am just a beginner player. Why does she wants a duel with me? Does she love bullying the weak? Or does she wants to see me powerless and make me feel ashamed of myself? Or does she wants to immobilize me and then take advantage of me? '
I don't know what her intentions were. The only thing I knew was that I was really weak to even think of a duel with her.
I mustered a lot of courage to say this, "I am just a beginner player. I don't think so I'll be able to satisfy you. ", just to say these words had me on the edge of a knife. Because if she got offended from these words then I was dead. If I couldn't convince her just from these words then I was probably dead too.
Her expressions changed, standing in that same position the smirk was gone. She remained silent for few seconds and that silence was eating me. It had me so worried that I was just going to cry.
But then that smirk came back again and she bent a bit more towards me and replied, "Don't worry. Your presence alone will satisfy me, so let's do a duel. "
I shook my head. It was my death either way. And so I prefered to stand for myself and die rather than not standing for myself and dying.
But she didn't accept it, instead of accepting it she grabbed my right hand and ran into the forest forcefully taking me with her too.
The elves around us looked at us thinking what the hell we were even doing. I could see them with the corner of my eyes and they all were really confused.
"Hey... wait! Where are you taking me!? "
"To somewhere more peacefull from the village and without any restraints on us where we could do whatever we want! "
' "Whatever we want"!?'
'What the hell is she even planning to do with me!? '
We ran through the bushes, through those mighty trees, on top of fallen leaves, on top of fallen branches and jumping over the fallen trunks of those trees. But for some reason this time I could feel that her body was no longer cold, instead it had a warmth and a very comfortable warmth.
