Hey everyone, I hope you're all doing well.
No, this isn't Kewl, the original author. If you're wondering what happened, he hasn't been doing well physically or mentally lately, and he reached out to me asking if I could take over the story for the time being.
For those who don't know, Kewl and I have actually worked on this story together before. I had to step away because of some personal problems of my own, but after he reached out to me, I decided to come back and continue what we started together. I genuinely hope he gets better soon so we can write together again.
So, getting to the point: I'll be continuing The Jester and the Princess.
I've already started working on the continuation, and I'll do my absolute best to make the story even better while still preserving the charm, atmosphere, and appeal of the original story exactly as Kewl intended.
As for publishing, I'm planning to begin uploading the continuation in about one or two months. I want to take my time with it rather than falling into the whole write and publish simultaneously every single day situation. I'd rather have enough chapters prepared beforehand so I can give the story the attention it deserves.
Also, just to make this clear: The Jester and the Princess is completely free, and it will remain free in the future. We have no plans to make money from the story itself.
