Like other successful members of the Tyger Claws, Woody was formidable in his youth, relying on his own abilities to fight for the gang and rise to his current position.
Now, powerful and influential, he had equipped himself with expensive combat cyberware. While not comparable to the gang's specialized 'Red Batons' (enforcers) who dealt with tough targets, he believed it was more than sufficient to handle those stray Mercenaries on the street.
For example, this unfamiliar woman who suddenly broke in, he just needed one punch and... thirty seconds later, Woody was tied to a chair, bruised and swollen, his mouth stuffed with something—his boxer briefs.
"Little Ai!"
After Kikyo dealt with Woody, Berry and Judy rushed through the door with their guns raised.
Upon seeing Evelyn, still unconscious and looking pained on the sofa, Judy gasped in alarm and rushed to Evelyn's side to check her condition.
Berry then closed the door and came over.
Looking at the anxious Judy and Evelyn, who was in a deep coma on the sofa, Berry shook her head.
Although Evelyn's tragedy was largely self-inflicted, seeing someone lying half-dead in front of her like this, Berry no longer had any desire to mock her.
"Little Ai, Little Ai, what should I do? She's completely unresponsive." Judy looked at the pained Evelyn, wanting to check her injuries but afraid her actions would worsen them. She held up her hands, utterly at a loss, not knowing what to do.
"Right, a doctor, we need to find a Cyberware Doctor for her." The panicked Judy finally latched onto an idea; she had to take Evelyn to a doctor quickly.
"Kikyo, do you have any trustworthy doctors? Please, save Little Ai!" Judy turned her head. She remembered their mysterious origins and felt they must have a way.
That's what I said.
But, Judy, how do you judge people?
Clearly, Berry is the one in charge, why are you asking Kikyo?
"It's alright, little Judy, your good friend will be saved by us."
Although slightly annoyed by Judy's immediate apology and assumption that Kikyo was the leader, Berry patiently controlled Kikyo to respond to her.
After all, a calm and collected older sister comforting someone always seems to be more effective.
"Evelyn's sex doll chip was burned out, and her brain's operating system also suffered some damage, but it's not a big problem. She'll recover after repairs."
Kikyo stepped forward, lifted Evelyn's eyelids to examine her eyeballs, then looked at the blackened port on the side of her brain, diagnosing her professionally.
"Thank you! Thank you so much!"
With tears in her eyes, Judy, sincerely thanking Kikyo, looked much more pleasing than before. Berry nodded, thinking, 'I knew it, the black-haired big sister is always better.'
Judy finally calmed down, her tear-soaked eye makeup still intact, and stood up again.
The room fell silent for a second or two, and at that moment, Woody's struggling sounds, as he kicked his chair, caught their attention.
"Damn it, you bastard! You're the one who hurt little Ev, aren't you!"
Judy, who had just wiped away her tears, seeing the fat-headed Woody, was furious. She raised her pistol and took a few steps forward, pointing it at Woody, who was tied to the sofa.
But Woody wasn't a coward. With the dark muzzle pointed at him, he glared, mumbling incoherently through his gagged mouth, probably cursing obscenities.
"Damn it, do you really think I won't kill you!?"
Seeing Woody still so arrogant, Judy gnashed her teeth in anger, her finger resting on the pistol's trigger.
"I'll kill you, I'll really kill you!"
But in response to the threat, Woody seemed even more energized. He stretched his neck, his face red and veins bulging, his glaring eyes sweeping from Evelyn on the sofa back to Judy, who was pointing a gun at him. He snorted and shook his head, and from his broken sounds, it was clear he was cursing terribly.
Seeing the other party insult Evelyn and herself with such disregard, Judy clenched her teeth, holding the gun, her body trembling.
Just then, a hand reached out and gripped the gun barrel. It was Kikyo.
Berry sighed.
This Judy really can't bluff. She has enough anger in her eyes, but no killing intent at all. No wonder that old fox Woody wasn't scared even with a gun to his head; he probably figured Judy wouldn't dare to shoot.
And you know what, he was right.
Judy, although she was involved with gangs, wasn't a killer. She was just a braindance editor, and her times holding a gun were pitifully few.
She had the courage to shoot at enemies, but this was her first time executing someone at such close range, and it was much harder to do than she had imagined.
Berry couldn't bear to watch and decided to help her.
"Don't stop me, I can do it, I'll kill this bastard right now!" Seeing Kikyo hold her gun, Judy replied stubbornly and unwillingly.
"No, little Judy, I'm not here to stop you." Kikyo curved her lips into a smile before continuing. "It's not good to use a gun here. What if we disturb someone?"
"Hmm..." Judy angrily lowered the gun, then glared resentfully at Woody. "Then what do we do? Are we just going to let this guy go?"
Kikyo said nothing, only shaking her head. She moved her long legs, tightly wrapped in a black uniform, and walked to Woody's desk.
A katana lay on the desk.
Looking at the mottled scabbard and the decaying hanging cord, it might have been an antique, but that didn't stop it from fulfilling its duty—killing.
Kikyo gripped the scabbard, drew the long blade, and then walked back behind Judy under Judy's solemn gaze.
"Here, little Judy, take this. This is how you kill." Before Judy could figure out what was happening, Kikyo was already embracing her from behind, putting the blade into her hand, its tip pointing directly at Woody's throat.
"Come on, aim a little better." Kikyo held Judy's hand, guiding the blade's tip to the center of Woody's throat.
"Wait, wait, we're going to use this?"
Judy's pupils dilated as she looked at the blade in her hand.
This, this is much harder to accept than using a gun, isn't it?
With a gun, you just pull the trigger, but this... Judy's pupils trembled, and she gripped the blade with difficulty.
"Uh huh, or what?"
But Kikyo, now like a wicked villain coercing an innocent maiden, gave Judy no chance to back out. She tightened her grip on Judy's hand, forcing her to make a decision.
"Think about it, if I had arrived a step later, what do you think this guy would have done to your little Evelyn?"
Kikyo, like a tempting demon, leaned down and whispered into the innocent Girl's ear, maliciously desiring her to fall into the abyss of sin with her.
"This..."
Indeed, when Kikyo mentioned Evelyn, Judy's eyes once again filled with hatred for Woody, and her grip on the blade tightened a few more times.
Berry knew that she only needed to add a little more fuel to the fire.
"Do you know how gangs deal with those who are useless to them? Do they throw them in the sewers, send them to film Illegal Braindance, or something else...?"
Accompanied by Kikyo's low whispers, Judy finally gritted her teeth and tightened her grip on the katana.
"Yes, that's the look of hatred. You're doing great, little Judy."
Kikyo didn't stint on praising the obedient child, encouraging Judy to make the final decision.
Woody, in front of them, was so scared he almost peed his pants. This tender Girl might not dare to act, but the taller woman had taken him down in a few moves. For someone like her, killing was never a burden.
So, Woody successfully chickened out.
His angry eyes were filled with panic, and he whimpered, begging for mercy frantically.
But he only met Judy's increasingly furious gaze.
"Do it."
Kikyo helped Judy, pushing her hand slightly. As if finding an outlet, Judy thrust the katana forward, and the gleaming blade instantly pierced Woody's throat.
Blood gushed out, forming gurgling bubbles. Woody, with the blade in his throat, looked up, eyes wide, his body twitching as he slowly lost his life.
"Damn it, what have I done!?"
Seeing Woody's resentful gaze in his dying moments, Judy let go and abruptly backed away, her hands opening and closing, completely panicked.
"You... you..." Unable to look at Woody anymore, Judy looked at Kikyo in disbelief. She couldn't believe she had actually done it, killing a person as if she were killing an animal.
"It's alright, little Judy, you did great~"
But Kikyo, instead of being flustered by Judy's panic, smiled reassuringly and stroked Judy's head with her hand.
Berry felt like she had flipped a switch while controlling Kikyo, becoming somewhat malicious.
Indeed, is this what happens when you hold a weapon and a murderous intent arises?
Words that would have seemed strange coming from her own mouth now sounded perfectly natural when spoken by the black-haired mature woman, Kikyo.
Sure enough, even if she became a Girl, she was a pure top. It was just that her current body restricted her.
Berry thought confidently.
She turned to look at Woody, confirming that he had completely stopped breathing.
Honestly, Berry felt no burden at all killing these guys.
These gang members, if you shot ten of them, none would be innocent.
People say killing has a psychological burden, but Berry felt none, because she didn't even classify these guys as human.
The distinction between humans and beasts isn't so absolute. Not everything with two legs and a mouth that can speak is human. In Berry's view, only those with basic shame and morality can be called human. Those who commit all sorts of evil deeds are merely bipedal beasts walking around.
"Hey, Judy, it's alright, don't think too much. Let's get Evelyn out of here first."
Berry felt like she was a bit too wicked.
Letting the Chassis do all the bad deeds, then the main body acts like a pure white lotus.
Isn't that a green tea?
Berry thought guiltily.
"Yes, right, that's it... save little Ev first."
Judy was a bit incoherent, but she didn't forget the main task. She quickly walked to the sofa and picked up Evelyn.
After picking up Evelyn, Judy gave the black-haired Kikyo a complex look. She couldn't believe such a beautiful person could act so coldly.
But then again, she had also helped her save Evelyn.
Looking down at the pained expression on Evelyn's face, Judy's expression was complicated.
She didn't know whether to be afraid of this person or grateful.
"Thank you, Kikyo..."
In the end, Judy still thanked Kikyo.
After all, she also believed these gang members deserved to die; it was just that she found it hard to accept doing it herself.
"Judy?"
Berry's sweet voice came, she was already waiting for the other party outside the door.
"Yes, coming now."
Judy nodded quickly.
It seems this Girl named Berry is a bit better.
Judy thought, breathing a sigh of relief.
