The dog tag, dangling from a thin chain, flew through the air, and V quickly reached out to catch it before it hit the ground.
"Arno… you…" V glanced at the dog tag, then looked at Arno ahead, a bad premonition instantly forming in her mind.
"Arno, you motherfucker, don't go throwing your life away!!!" Jackie had already shouted, his wide eyes bloodshot, staring incredulously at Arno standing in the middle of the ruins.
Arno didn't reply, he just turned to look at them, smiled faintly, and gave a thumbs up with his intact right hand.
Then came a searing sound, a long, sky-devouring beam of blue flame shot out, completely engulfing Arno. The blue mech had made its move, its spewing flame directly crossing half the field to cover Arno in fire.
"Fuck!" Jackie's eyes were splitting with rage at the sight, and hot tears instantly welled up.
"Fuck you, Arno!" Jackie cursed, picking up a gun and charging towards the three mechs.
"Jackie, you motherfucker, calm down!"
But before he could run a few steps, V rushed over and grabbed Jackie.
"V, let me go…" Jackie was still yelling, trying to break free from V, but V quickly pointed at the flames and said to him, "Jackie, you motherfucker, look closely, Arno isn't dead yet!"
"How is that possible! He's already…" Jackie looked on disbelievingly, only to witness an incredible scene.
The fiery beam, like a soaring fire dragon, glowed purple, with a temperature of at least a thousand degrees Celsius. The intense heat instantly vaporized the surrounding flowerbeds, yet within such fierce flames, a black figure could be seen dashing towards the mech, enduring the fire.
And who else could the person in the fire be but Arno?
Arno! Arno is still fighting!!!
Amidst the towering crimson, a slender black shadow was rapidly running, enduring the metal-melting flame jets, until it rushed in front of the blue mech that was spewing flames.
With a heavy stomp, the black shadow leaped high, soaring out of the endless flames.
"That's…"
"Oh god, impossible!"
Seeing that figure, the drivers of the three mechs all gasped in astonishment, staring wide-eyed at the sky, as if they had witnessed a nightmare breaking into reality.
In the air, the entire body was billowing thick black smoke, revealing a charred black metal skeleton beneath the cover, with intricate parts rotating within the chest frame, metal knuckles like claws, and finally, a metal skull with crimson light glowing from its eye sockets.
Facing the three mechs, the metal skull opened its steel maw, letting out a silent roar, the red light in its eyes growing even more intense, its chilling terror almost materializing.
All who saw it were terrified.
"Fire! Don't let it get close to the mech!"
Without needing further instruction, upon seeing this ghostly skeletal robot, the three mechs roared in unison, their massive cannons all aimed at the heavy metal Arno in the air.
But their actions were too late.
Clang~!
Arno, trailing black smoke, jumped onto the flaming right arm of the blue mech, meeting the pilot's panicked eyes.
"Get this thing off me, fast!"
In the opponent's terrified gaze, Arno wrapped both arms around the mech's cannon barrel and exerted force. The flamethrower, still spewing fire, was twisted with a screeching crunch, and the flames, like a churning fire dragon, shot out to the right along the nozzle!
"What the hell are you doing?!"
"Fuck, I almost got burned alive!"
Two mechs were rushing over to help, but the fire dragon that turned and sprayed towards them was aimed right at their faces. If they hadn't quickly blocked it with the metal shields on their mechs' left arms, they would have nearly been roasted to cinders.
"Got you!"
The blue mech's pilot also reacted, hastily swinging the metal shield on its left arm towards Arno.
Arno had no choice but to release his grip, stepping on the mech's right arm to jump away.
"Die!"
But while in the air, the red mech, having lowered its shield, extended its right arm. Intense electrical arcs surged from its square muzzle, the sound of crackling electricity rang out, and a dazzling plasma bolt shot towards Arno.
In a hurry, Arno could only cover his chest with both hands. The next second, the plasma bolt slammed into him, exploding with a teeth-grinding plasma blast, as a blinding white light erupted.
Clang!
Arno's metal skeleton, sparking with exploded arcs, fell to the ground, his arm and leg joints twisted into a tangled mess, crackling with electricity, completely deformed.
It's no good, three mechs combined are far more than just one plus one. With the visual components destroyed, Berry anxiously thought, looking at Arno's torn image.
There's only that move left, Berry gritted her teeth and made up her mind.
"Orders from Command, capture that mech!"
The red mech's cannon was originally aimed at Arno on the ground, electricity still flashing, ready to deliver the final blow to this monstrosity, but the communication in his earpiece made him pause.
The three mechs exchanged glances, then strode towards Arno on the ground, who appeared to have lost all mobility.
"This is our chance!"
Berry gritted her teeth and issued the final command.
Suddenly, Arno, lying on the ground, struggled to stand up amidst the exploding electricity on his body. His internal hydraulic system worked frantically, propelling Arno towards the mechs at beyond-limit speed.
"Attack!"
At this moment, the three mechs were gathered together.
The blue mech's shield slammed down, and Arno narrowly dodged it.
The black mech's massive cannon swept across, and Arno burrowed out, staying close to the ground.
It wasn't until the red mech raised its shield high and smashed it down that Arno finally grabbed a mechanical leg and scrambled onto the red mech's right arm.
Clinging tightly to the mech's right arm like a spider, Arno opened his maw as if howling, but his chest began to emit a blinding blue light.
"No, this guy is going to self-destruct!!!"
The three mech pilots' eyes were splitting with terror, and in their panic, they tried to escape.
But before they could turn around, the blue light from Arno's chest rapidly expanded in silence, engulfing the three mechs and everything around them.
"Boom!!!"
At that moment, an unprecedented explosion finally erupted from the hall. The ground shook, the surrounding glass instantly shattered, and metal fragments and wall dust from the ceiling rained down, submerging everything.
