Chapter 24 - An Invitation

(Ellion's POV)

"You didn't tell me you were going to crown Joanna, you imbecile!" Genna pulled on my ear, "You just told me you were not going to crown me, to avoid suspicion!!"

I chuckled, "Sorry, My Lady." I said, "I'm sorry."

"Tywin won't want you as a Knight under his banners." Genna said, "But if he doesn't want you, I'll take you back to House Frey, see if Lord Walder will have you. I mean, you are my sworn knight. I have to eventually go back to the Twins, see if I can conceive more sons with my husband."

I rubbed my ear, "Hm...." I said, "Well, I guess so...."

She sat down and crossed her arms, "Tywin is beyond angry." she said with a serious expression, "Why would you insult him that way?"

"He called me a Bastard and was insulting me himself." I said, "I won't take that without getting back at him."

"You're risking your life with that, Tywin." Genna said, "But was this your plan? You wanted to anger my brother by taking part in the Tourney???"

"Yes." I said with a nod, "But I also wanted to get the King's favor. It worked out better than I had hoped, he knighted me."

"Yes, he did." Genna said with a sigh, "You've made it, Ellion. You were finally knighted. But you best be careful from now on. Being a Knight gets you plenty of opportunities from now on, but it is going to get a target on your back, especially with my brother."

"I am not threatened by Tywin." I said

"You should be!" She said, "I cannot defend you against him. If I do, he will be sure to punish me."

I walked up to her and leaned down, gently grabbing her breast, "I won't let anything happen to you." I said softly, groping her, "I promise you. You are mine, you understand? Mine to ravage, mine to fuck. I won't let a single finger be placed on you, Genna."

She blushed, "Hm...." She said, "So you say....but...."

I kissed her cheek, "I want to fuck you." I said, "As a celebration of my victory."

"We mustn't." She said softly, her hand on my crotch despite her words, "But there is something we must do. Lady Baratheon is here, so I intend to spend time with her and Lady Hightower. Her daughters are also here, if you wish to see them. Being a Knight could potentially get you closer to them."

"Like a bastard would be allowed to marry a Lady." I said, "I mean....."

"You are a Knight." She said softly, patting my cheek, "That means something, okay? Especially if later on, Aerys can legitimize you. Stay on his good side; he is the King. He is above Tywin when it comes to authority, Ellion."

"You have a point." I said as I pulled away, "I suppose we can wait and see what happens now."

"Hm, Genna?"

*****************

"This Bastard won the Tourney?" I heard a black-haired dumbass said, "What an outrageous result to this cursed Tourney."

I raised an eyebrow as I approached the building where some of the Houses were briefly residing in. I was looking at black-haired young man, who seemed to be a bit younger than me. He was quite tall, as tall as I was, and had black hair. He was wearing black and yellow attire, the Baratheon sigil on him.

Next to him, another young man with black hair, a bit longer than this one's hair, was standing while holding a practice sword in his hand.

"Ned, what do you think?" He said as he looked at him, "Prince Rhaegar got dismounted by this one."

"Hm, he is formidable. And he was knighted by the King himself." Ned said as he looked at me

If this was Ned, then this dumbass was none other than Robert Baratheon, son of Steffon and Cassana Baratheon.

"What's your deal?" I asked Robert, "You have a problem with me?"

Robert raised an eyebrow, "You're speaking back to me, bastard?" He said, "You see, I don't think you would have won the tourney should I have taken part in it."

"Don't start, Robert." Ned said as he sighed

"Is that so?" I asked, "Perhaps the Young Stag wishes to spar with a mere bastard, who was just knighted by the King himself."

"Hm..." Robert said as he smirked, "Perhaps I do."

"Robert!" I heard a woman's voice call out, "How many times have I told you not to be disrespectful to your peers."

"Peers?" Robert turned around to see a woman wearing a black dress, followed by a tall knight, "This is no peer of mine."

I saw that the woman was Cassana Baratheon, Robert's mother. I did not see Lord Steffon anywhere at the moment, but he was at the Tourney. The woman, despite being a mother to this price, seemed to have a youthful appearance; her body was quite a good-looking one, even with her dress on.

"He was Knighted, Robert." Lady Cassana said as she crossed her arms, pushing her cleavage slightly up, "Show some respect."

"Tch...." Robert said as he scowled at me, "He's nothing to me."

"Lady Cassana, Robert and I will head to the docks." Ned said, "That way, he can take his mind off the decision that prevented him from joining the Tourney."

"Bah!" Robert said as he walked past me, followed by Ned, "Bastard, I will see you later. If you wish to spar, then we do it at a different time."

I nodded and looked at Lady Cassana, "My Lady." I pulled out a letter, "Lady Genna wished for me to hand this over to you personally."

"Oh?" She said as I handed her the letter and stepped back, "What's this? Wait, is it what I think it is?"

"It is an invitation of some sort." I shrugged, "I did not ask."

She smiled, "Thank you, Ser Ellion." She said, "And congratulations on your victory. I am glad that Old Lyonel's former squire is going up in the world."

I nodded, "Thank you, My Lady." I said, "And your son is quite the young man, he is my junior, by a year. But I hope we can get along in the future, seeing that he has the makings of a great warrior."

"Oh, thank you." She smiled, "Those are kind words."

Robert is a prick, I'll be honest. But I've made up my mind. Just to get back at him, being a dickhead and all.

I'm going to fuck his mother.
