Chapter 2 - The House of Wishes... A Love Beyond Reality

Part Two: When the Dream Wakes You

A full year had passed since Laila vanished from Omar's life.

A year of silence… and of trying to learn how to live without asking why.

But the one thing he couldn't shake off were those rare dreams in which Laila appeared.

They weren't clear dreams… but more like flashes.

Her face approaching… her voice whispering… then everything would disappear.

Even so, these flashes were enough to keep him alive.

Chapter One: The Room That Only Returns at Night

On a cold night, Omar suddenly woke up to the sound of something falling in the hallway.

He rose slowly… walked toward the door… and opened it.

He froze in place.

For the first time in a year…

He saw the old door again.

The same narrow wooden door… with the same brass knob…

But something was different:

It wasn't leaning against the wall as it used to…

It was suspended in the air.

Yes… the door didn't touch the floor.

He didn't know whether to approach or flee…

But he felt an invisible tug pulling him toward it.

He reached out his hand toward the knob… and the moment he touched the door, he heard her voice:

— "Omar…"

It was Laila's voice… soft, but coming from behind the door, as if she was standing in another world.

— Laila?!

— "Don't open it… Not now."

His hand recoiled.

His heart pounded, and he nearly fell from the shock.

— Laila… Where are you?!

But the door began to melt like smoke…

And vanished completely…

Leaving Omar alone in the darkness.

Chapter Two: The Woman Who Resembles Laila

After that night, strange things began to happen in Omar's life.

Every time he walked past a mirror… he would catch a glimpse of Laila's face behind him.

Every time he entered a dark room… he would smell her perfume.

Sometimes, he would even feel a light hand touch his shoulder, then vanish.

But the most bizarre event occurred a week later.

He was in a small bookstore… when he noticed a girl flipping through a novel in the back corner.

When she raised her head…

The blood froze in his veins.

She resembled Laila in a terrifying way.

The same features… the same smile… the same calmness in her eyes.

He approached her hesitantly:

— Excuse me…

— Yes?

Her voice was different… but the resemblance was overwhelming.

— What is your name?

— Sara.

She smiled gently, as if she noticed his confusion.

— You look startled… Is something wrong?

— No… I just… remembered someone.

She laughed:

— Was it someone nice, or someone suspicious?

He smiled against his will.

— Someone… who can never be replicated.

Here, Sara gave him a strange look… as if she sensed that his words carried something deeper than just a memory.

— Well… if you need to talk, I'm here.

He gave her a faint smile, then left her and walked away… because his heart wasn't ready to see Laila's face on someone else.

But he didn't know… that Sara would reappear in his life more than he expected.

Chapter Three: The Longest Dream

That night… Omar dreamed of Laila again.

But this time… it wasn't just a flash.

She was standing before him at the same wooden table inside the old room.

But the room was different… bigger… deeper… as if it had opened up to another world.

— Laila… are you really here?

— I am here… but not like before.

She approached him.

And this time… when he raised his hand to touch her face… his hand didn't pass through it.

He felt flesh… a touch… warmth.

Suddenly.

— How?

— Because the door… is about to open.

— What door?

— The door between the world of wishes… and the world of reality.

He got goosebumps.

— And what does that mean?

— It means something… is coming.

She looked at him with real fear in her eyes… something he hadn't seen from her even when she was a wish.

— Don't you dare open the door, Omar… if it appears again.

— Why?

— Because not all wishes are beautiful.

Then she started to fade again…

But before she completely vanished, she said:

— If "Sara" appears again… don't stay away from her.

She will be important… more than you can imagine.

Chapter Four: Sara… Who Knows Nothing

The next day… he saw Sara by chance again.

She was standing in front of the apartment building where he lived.

— Sara?

— Oh… you live here?

— Yes…

— What a strange coincidence… I live next to you on the street behind this one.

She smiled as if fate was playing its game…

But Omar didn't view this "coincidence" as natural.

He invited her for a cup of coffee.

They talked for a long time…

And when the meeting ended, Sara said a sentence that made his heart drop:

— While we were talking… I felt like there was a third person standing with us.

I don't know why… but I felt it.

Omar trembled…

Because Laila was indeed standing there… behind Sara the entire time.

Chapter Five: The Door Appears Again

That night… the door reappeared.

But this time… it was wide open.

And from inside… a powerful white light was emanating, shaking the walls of the house.

And he heard a voice… not Laila's voice.

But another voice… strange… deep… coming from a place he didn't know.

— Omar… approach.

As he got closer, his eyes caught a shadow… resembling the shape of a woman…

But it wasn't Laila.

She was taller… older… and more dangerous.

And when he reached the edge of the doorway…

A hand of light stretched out and grasped his arm.

At the very same moment… Laila's voice burst out, screaming:

— Don't open it!

And everything shattered around him.
