One look at them, and the parents around began to pull their children closer, shielding them behind their legs.
Seeing the thugs, Diego's wife lifted her chin proudly and interlocked her arm with her husband's.
Then she turned to Juliette and hissed, "Who knows? Maybe my husband can be a little lenient if they show a bit of remorse and apologize?"
"Why even bother?" Diego snickered. "Look at them. Do they look even remotely bothered by this turn of events?"
Dahlia and Ophelia remained standing, not an iota of fear on their faces.
For Dahlia, she simply didn't understand what was happening.
