Me and V standing distant from the Hollows. There are three Hollows remaining and one of them lost one of his eyes because of me. I can see the anger coming from his other eye and the way he clenching his teeth.
Hoshito: 'Jeez, that Hollow won't let this one go…' I thought while giving mischievous smile.
V looked at me unimpressed.
V: "Hoshito…"
Hoshito: "Hmm?"
V: "Never mind… let's focus on the battle."
I turned back to Hollows as they were standing waiting for an opening to strike us down. The atmosphere was intense and each side knew they couldn't underestimate the other.
Hoshito: "V… you know what soul society do when Quincy killed massive number of Hollows, right?" I said without looking back to him.
V: "Yes, I know they kill same number of souls to make the world balance, what's with that?"
Hoshito: "Sorry, but I asked to confirm about that statement." — I said with calm demeanor — "after hearing that I want you to let me kill these Hollows since we don't know how many number the world be imbalance."
V: "Alright then, I will let you kill them, and I will help you with it."
After that the one eye Hollow jumped at me and separated me with V. The one eye took a chance to clash with me, and I can think he won't give me a moment to breath.
Hollow6: "What the hell are you doing?!"
Hollow3: "Shut up! That person is easy to you two if you both focus on him, right?!!"
The intention of wanting me alone and his angry face is evidence of it. The two Hollows were speechless for moment, and yet they started throwing punches and kicks toward V.
Not wanting to make fight long I started dodging one eye Hollow's attacks since it becomes slower than before. I thrusted my blade into the back of his feet to stop him from movement, but it made him stop for few seconds as his injury regenerated.
Hoshito: 'God damn it, I never thought normal Hollows can regenerate their wounds… I should have paid attention to details and some videos that explain things back in my world.'
I glanced back to check on V, and it turns out he is better at fighting two hollows at once since he began using more Hirenkyaku. The one eye throws a punch at me when I looked back, and I send to the ground.
Hollow3: "Pay more attention to me, you little brat!" he said as he going to land on top of me.
I rolled out before he landing and got up fast.
Hoshito: "Oh yeah? Maybe I will if you have another eye… ah wait, you had one, but I stabbed it…" I said mocking to him intentionally.
The one eye got angrier and started running at me. I slid to his lost eye side and jumped at him. The one eye turned to me and throw a punch at me, but it reached my right side near my body. I swung down my blade and cut him down.
Hoshito: "V! aim to their legs!"
V heard me and without wasting time shot five arrows at Hollow who was behind the leader one. I run and from behind I cut his down. The leader is now alone against both of us.
Hollow6: "Damn it…" — the hollow had a struggle expression and then he noticed something on V then smirks — "Well, well, it seems the archer can't shoot another arrow anymore."
I looked back to V and saw his hands bleeding from shooting continuously.
Hoshito: "V!!"
Hollow6: "hahahaha!! Now then Shinigami-San it's now two of us! What you going to do now?"
I glared at him but without denial that I'm in trouble. My eyes went around to find a way to defeat this man, then my eyes went up saw the sky clearing up. Something came to my mind and smirked at the leader.
Without saying a word, I ran back to the wall of the backyard and jumped to it. and as my feet landed on the top of wall I jumped again but far higher than before. The leader turned his head up, the light from the clearing sky made his eyes go blind for moment and habitually blocked his face with his hand.
Hollow6: 'This kid thinks he is smart, but he is not I know he will strike me down up there with his blade.'
But the touch of blade didn't come from above, it came down on his legs.
Hollow6: 'From down?! but when did he–?!'
He extends his hand to less the impact of his fall, and as he turned to looked at me I thrust my blade in his mask and cut him down.
V had an astonishing expression on his face for moments until it was replaced by his calm one. His bow vanished as he walked toward me.
V: "That was great move, Hoshito, but how did came down from above so fast?"
Hoshito: "Huh? Are you serious? Didn't know the gravity can pull me down since I don't know to use Flash steps?"
V: "Oh… I see…" he said with disappointment expression.
Hoshito: "Oi, What's with that expression? Aren't you happy we defeat those Hollow?"
V: "I'm glad to defeat them but I don't understand what be happy supposed to be in this situation."
I looked around and saw the backyard was destroyed, and the back door was broken. I rubbed back of my head out of habit. And awkwardly I smiled.
Hoshito: "Yeah, I guess you are right about this…"
V sighed and then entered my shadow. I looked confused to why he would leave without single word now. But then my body collapsed and last thing I saw before closing my eyes was Ichigo arriving and calling me out.
Hoshito: 'Jeez… I'm tired from all of this…'
