This story is a complete re-imagining of a novel I wrote several years ago.At the time, I was still developing my craft, and although I poured my passion into the project, I was ultimately disappointed with its execution—the pacing, the writing quality, and the depth of the world did not reflect the vision I originally had.
After gaining more experience and refining my style, I decided to return to this tale and rebuild it from the ground up.
