With the experience of frying eggs, frying bacon became much simpler. Except for one distracted student who forgot to turn off the heat, causing the bacon to burn into charcoal, everyone successfully obtained several strips of sizzling bacon. A few clever students even poured their fried eggs back into the pan to reheat—"Muggles don't have Warming Charms, everyone," Anthony said as he pressed down on a student's wand—cooking up the most humble English breakfast.

Honestly, their presentation could make any house-elf scream and faint, but the students enthusiastically shared their broken fried eggs with each other.

"You added too much salt, right?"

"Who knows what 'appropriate amount' means..."

Anthony clapped his hands, drawing the students' attention back. "All finished? Let's try something else next—Yorkshire pudding."

This savory food—like most British food—was composed entirely of eggs, flour, milk, and oil. It was simple to make, but everyone would marvel at how batter transformed into fluffy, delicious food within half an hour.

Anthony loudly repeated the key points to them. "The oil temperature must be high! Don't open the oven door! Take it out immediately when time's up!"

The students struggled to mix smooth batter without lumps. Some tried to make the whisk work by itself, only to splash all the flour onto their partner. Under magic's influence, the partner was evenly coated like a large gingerbread man, with the whisk laboriously trying to beat this human-shaped "lump" smooth.

"Hey!" his partner protested, grabbing the whisk and reaching for a chunk of batter to smear on the other's hair.

"I didn't do it on purpose!" the student shouted indignantly, retaliating batter for batter.

Only then did Anthony notice the chaos. "Stop! You're wasting food!"

When he pulled them apart, both were grinning. "Professor, can we make an exception and use a Cleaning Charm?"

Anthony said irritably, "No." He cleaned the flour covering one partner's entire body but left the batter chunks on their heads.

"This is the first time I've seen this hair care method. You should let the nutritious batter penetrate deep into your roots," their classmates teased. "Oh, what's that smell?"

Anthony immediately went to treat the student with burned fingers.

She'd been making the fastest progress in class but got so absorbed watching the batter drama that she forgot her Yorkshire pudding alone in the oven. Only when the dough impatiently emitted a burnt smell did she cry out to rescue her work, then forgot the oven mitt in her haste.

"Be more careful next time," Anthony said, handing her the burn ointment sponsored by Madam Pomfrey. The professors had anticipated such incidents.

"I know," the student replied dejectedly, still mourning her cremated Yorkshire pudding.

"I'll repeat once more!" Anthony told the whole class. "Muggle practicals—no unauthorized use of magic!"

By then the first properly baked pudding had emerged. Its chef, wearing oven mitts, carefully carried out the baking tray.

"I really want to use a Levitation Charm," a watching student muttered, immediately receiving agreement from the surrounding crowd.

Anthony laughed. "Think of the Muggles, everyone. They live like this all the time. Try using tools other than magic. I promise when we clean up the classroom later, I'll allow you to use Scouring Charms." He then saw the perfectly baked, lightly browned pudding. "Well done. One point to Ravenclaw."

The student proudly placed the tray on the table. The hot air from the oven had flushed his face red.

"It's still hot. Let it cool before eating," Anthony reminded, pressing down on his eager hand. For safety's sake, he decided not to assume students had any kitchen common sense.

"Ah, okay," the other said with an embarrassed smile. After Anthony turned away, he whispered to his partner, "The professor's hands are so cold."

At his words, nearby students also noticed. In this bustling kitchen, Anthony hadn't broken a single sweat.

"Warming Charm?" his partner guessed.

"Not fair," the student complained half-jokingly. "We can't even use Scouring Charms."

Anthony, overhearing their conversation, decided to adopt this explanation.

The magical world's greatest advantage was that he didn't need to find reasons for his abnormal constitution—there were plenty of spells to explain it. In fact, if not for the detectable dark magic aura, he could even argue his cat was a pile of Transfiguration blocks.

They spent four hours preparing this simple meal that would take only half an hour in the Muggle world. By the time they finally sat down to enjoy their labor's fruits, it was already lunchtime.

Anthony nodded. "Everyone did wonderfully. Let's eat!" As soon as he finished speaking, piles of plates appeared before everyone—slightly charred broccoli, steaming potato cakes, sausages with split skins, and most importantly, perfectly roasted beef with a crispy exterior and tender interior. "Yorkshire pudding without roast beef always lacks something. Thanks to our most enthusiastic house-elves—especially you, Cocoa—who prepared this perfect food for us."

Everyone was delighted. They'd been told they'd be eating their own cooking—"So for your own sake, be careful, ladies and gentlemen, don't add too much salt"—and hadn't expected such abundant side dishes.

"Flour and oil," Anthony said, biting into his Yorkshire pudding. "Always bring so much comfort."

When he announced there would also be ice cream and cake, the students were already full.

"You should have said so earlier, Professor!" Mildred complained.

"I didn't want to interrupt your meal," Anthony said with a smile. "No matter—those who can't eat more can take a dessert back to their dormitory. Remember to use a Warming Charm."
