Annabelle stared at him, trying to wrap her head around not just their proximity but also on what he was saying. It wasn't difficult to understand, and given the fact that they had just gotten married, it was a very normal request.
But how was she supposed to call the man who had always been nothing but a competitor to her so casually? Until a few seconds ago, he was still Mr Quinn to her.
She opened her mouth to speak, to call out his name, but she closed it back. Taking a deep breath, she tried again,
"Cassian…?"
He grinned.
How cute, she thought. Realizing what she just said, her breath caught. Heat rubbing up her face.
"Much better," he breathed. Annabelle could clearly hear the satisfaction in his tone. "Although I'd like for you to give me a name too someday."
"Shameless," Annabelle muttered under her breath.
Cassian, who heard her chuckled and pulled her closer until their bodies were touching. "I am serious, you know, darling."
