Owen waited for the grilled meat to fully absorb the sauce, then broke his rule and cut the softest piece of meat to give to Tania first, considering it thanks for speaking up for him.
Rowan raised his head to look at Owen, seeing him give the meat to someone else first, and a wave of inexplicable annoyance rose in his heart. He turned his face away, decisively taking the piece of cold beast meat that had been prepared earlier to eat.
Tania received it clumsily, glancing at Rowan a few times. Seeing that his expression was not good, this time Tania truly couldn't smile anymore.
"Hot, give it here, I'll hold it for you," Dante helped him out of the predicament, taking the meat.
"Then it's for you," Tania threw it to his partner like throwing a hot coal, sighing in relief.
Dante unceremoniously ate the whole piece, praised it as delicious, then went to get other beast meat to feed Tania.
