Rowan was hemmed in by this pile of prey and couldn't crawl out. He climbed onto the back of the Rock-footed Beast, and taking advantage of the moment Owen returned, hurriedly called for a stop.
"Enough, don't hunt anymore."
The large snake head tilted, as if he understood.
Owen stopped hunting, hovered in front of Rowan for a moment, and flicked his tongue to lightly lick Rowan's face.
Then he retreated, spread his wings wide to show them off to Rowan, and circled around him, occasionally using parts of his snake body to lightly touch Rowan before quickly withdrawing. His eyes were full of allure, every movement carrying a teasing intent.
In mid-air, he even performed several high-difficulty maneuvers, using special postures to display his health and robustness.
For the first time, Rowan got to admire Owen's entire snake body moving with such agility and power; the muscles hidden beneath the black scales contained endless strength.
