Lying atop a mess of bottles and jars,

Bi Bi Dong's body swayed, showing no reaction even to being kicked. Yet she clearly heard Ye Tian's question, only mechanically shaking her head. Sweat from her hair scattered around, landing on the bedding and on Ye Tian.
"I've… I've never been this exhausted before!"

Ye Tian lowered his foot, panting heavily.
Seeing the Pills scattered across the bed, he casually picked one up and tossed it into his mouth. The Pill dissolved into a warm, fluid essence that was quickly absorbed, making him shudder involuntarily.

Bi Bi Dong still didn't speak, merely nodding repeatedly like a fool, agreeing with Ye Tian's words.

Nevertheless, she released Ye Tian, planted her feet on the ground, and obediently nodded.

With those words,

Hu Liena's scream echoed throughout the Wisteria Residence.
Her petite figure scrambled out of the room in a panic.
Ye Tian stood weakly at the entrance of Eternal Heaven, watching Hu Liena return after her brief departure.
The bed curtains had already been drawn aside by him, so the moment Hu Liena entered, she saw the bed littered with bottles and jars, along with the disarray of Bi Bi Dong drenched in sweat.
Her reaction was hardly surprising.
"Senior Brother, what did you do to Teacher?"

Ye Tian ruffled Hu Liena's hair, then waved and left, closing the door to Eternal Heaven.
Hu Liena was left standing alone in place.

"Did something go wrong with Teacher's cultivation?"
Hu Liena was stunned for a moment, her expression a mix of belief and doubt.
But soon it turned resolute.
It must be true. Senior Brother had no reason to lie to her, and Teacher wasn't that weak.
