Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Crazy Vampire and the Parted sea

Damian sat in the dimly lit room below his mansion. The air here was damp and bloody. His dainty fingers lightly tapped the even surface of the dark table. His long legs crossed one over the other. His lids were as lazy as always, the weight of an impending war seemingly not something he should be bothered about. The top buttons of his shirt were opened up, revealing his pale chest and visible collar bones. his charm fused with the dim room, an ambiguous air floating about.

Salva walked in to his lazy master sprawled on the sofa in the dimly lit lounge. He knelt on one knee, a smile tugging at his bloodless lips. "Master!" his words were slurred, like a purr released from his throat. Damian smiled, his eyelids drooping more. "Salva, it seems you know why I'm here?" Salva smiled, his fangs exposed, a low growl released from his throat. "The east is at war, that dog might need help" Damian continued, his eyes growing a shade darker as he relished the bloodthirst in Salva's eyes. "This one understands" Salva had vanished as his last words echoed through the room. Damian released a dark chuckle, his thirst rising.

Salva went back to the damp cellar, his men Standing, their red eyes hidden behind their tightly closed lids. "My men, it seems it's time for another feast". Salva smiled, the mania in his eyes awakening the sleeping Vampires. Low growls echoed through the tunnels underneath the blood wing mansion.

***********

After Salva and the Blood Ash Division departed for the East. Damian let out another throaty growl as he stood from his laze on the sofa. His bones creaked in response to his movements. He had never been this starved.

His black wings unfurled behind him. He rose from the ground and flew around the wide passages, sweeping up the wind with his movement. The air outside the hidden passage was fresh, the scent of flowers and dancing willows pervading his nostrils, his blood red eyes were calmer, reason returning to his mind.

He flew up over the skies of the north of brusselie trying to clear his mind. He could not afford a rampage. Underneath the glaring moon, his wings flapped around keeping him afloat. He closed his eyes, an attempt to find his bearing. To put his bloodlust back to sleep, but all for naught. His eyes grew darker by the second. A thick bloody aura permeated the skies above the north of the floating continent. He flew off, away from the blood wing mansion, his wings beating the air even faster. He stopped in the skies of the north's west. A deep sea as far as the eyes could see. his ears twitched, eyes growing redder. He plunged into the its depths, his breathing growing increasingly ragged. His wings had disappeared, abandoning him in the cold depths. He looked around for something that could quell his hunger, but it seemed the creatures of the deep had chosen this moment to vanish.

'swoosh', something swam past him, his eyes too blurred to see. The water around him squirmed encasing him in a bubble, the water this time seemed different. It was heavy. His bones creaked and groaned, his hunger a cause for his weakness. He let out a pained moan, trying to resist the heavy water bubble shrinking around him. His crazed eyes grew darker, his aura intensified for a few seconds, enough to break out of the constricting bubble. A soft gasp escaped from a creature behind him, he turned to face the only threat he could feel in the deep.

Wavy blue hair with strands of deep green swam around her like they had a life of their own. Her eyes were a deep sea blue_ they were glowing. A silver trident was held firm, her dainty fingers wrapped tightly around its shaft. Her face was covered with a greyish blue metal mask. She was clothed in casual blue joggers with silver accents, her eyes were cold as she gazed at him. Her long legs silently paddling to keep herself from sinking. Damian's eyes trailed her figure, the hunger in his eyes intensifying. She was furious. Striking with her now glowing trident, the water around them parted. Damian drooped to the sea bed with a dull thud, she followed after, her sneakers landing softly on the wet soil. No words were exchanged as she tore through the air delivering a punch to Damian's pale features. Her trident had been retracted at some point, her blow was decisive without the least bit of hesitation. She was aiming to kill him with her fists. She shot at him again, a kick to his jaw, he was perplexed, his deep red eyes were fixed on her moving figure. He had no thoughts of countering.

Ale sat alone in the living room carving apples. He had gone through a few already when a thick bloody aura spread out in the sky above the mansion. He grunted, his eyes twitching at the disturbance. He stood up from the sofa, his dagger retracting into his sleeve. Raven ran downstairs, her red eye deeply alarmed. She had sensed her father's aura. Ale looked at the little girl barefoot on the staircase, and sighed. she smiled sheepishly at Ale and disappeared. A moment later she returned fully clothed in black baggy cargo trousers, a sleeved tank top and a pair of red sneakers.

Ale smiled at her and threw her an apple. They both sped out the door, their wings unfurling behind them, then they took off for Damian's aura trail. The sea at the West of Bromwin; the north of Brusselie was parted, a deep clearing at the center. Raven looked down at this clearing, her eyes narrowing at the sight. Her father was getting pummeled by a woman with a pleasing sense of style. She was enraged. Her wings flapped, about to initiate a descent but Ale stopped her with a tug on a feather.

"Your Father is in his spring period!" Ale said with a chuckle. He led her downward into the clearing, his eyes carefully watching the fight. Ravens red eyes grew darker as she watched. The woman paused her fist in front of Damian's battered face and turned her eyes to the new arrivals, their wings still present behind them. Her eyes grew round as she set her eyes on Ales ever smiling face.

"Athinna, its been ages. How is your mother?....Does she perhaps miss me?" Ale said, a smirk on his pale lips.
