When they returned to Lakeshire, Liora and Kaelan greeted them with news.
"We have been documenting everything," Kaelan said, showing his now very thick journal. "All the technique developments, all the collaborative discoveries, all the innovations from your time here. This is knowledge that should be preserved and shared."
"And I have been talking with people about networks," Liora added. "About how to maintain connections between territories, how to coordinate when help is needed. Turns out I am pretty good at organizing communication systems."
"You are finding your purpose," Aria observed.
"Maybe," Liora said. "Or maybe just discovering I am good at connecting people. Which is its own kind of purpose."
They spent one more week in Lakeshire. Consolidating the teaching, documenting the new techniques, helping establish the foundation for ongoing collaborative work. Sorin and the Council of Voices committed to making Lakeshire a hub for restoration research and practice.
