Chapter 16 - He forgot his phone, oh no!

He has already apologized once. She can't let him bow down to a young girl again. It would hurt the company's reputation.

Sophia stares at Siya for a moment longer than normal and Siya notices the flick of disappointment passing in Sophia's eyes.

It wasn't there for long. It was a flick. But still she could tell, she had disappointed the young girl, who sighed deeply and then stared at her boss.

"How important is this deal for you?"Sophia asked Vir, in all seriousness, her eyes and fingers, busy calculating things others can't see.

" As important as.. the rain is for wind."Vir replied after thinking for a long time, making Sophia roll her eyes in front of everyone.

"At least find a better example to give." Sophia groaned.

"Well, you get it, don't you? That matters." Vir was quick to offer his endearing puppy smile to Sophia, who just sighed deeply. This man! Can he ever get serious? Ever!

"Well then, in that case, our conversation and this meeting ends here." Sophia was quick to give the final word, as she couldn't wait to leave, the cold, rusty building filled with corrupt people.

"And my spokesperson has ended this annoying meeting." Vir cheered, even clapped as a kid in excitement who had just been released from school.

"Let's go." Vir was quick to drag Sophia out of the meeting room, then out of the building and finally he let her settle in the back seat. It's like, his tail was on fire.

"Let's go." Sophia commanded Vir's driver, who nodded and was about to ignite the engine, when he caught the glimpse of Vir and paused.

While the driver was turning the engine off, Vir checked his pocket and as if something was wrong, he started checking his clothes frantically.

" What's wrong?" Sophia couldn't help but ask.

"I-I think, I forgot my one lac sixty four thousand Samsung galaxy Z foldsix, five G mobile phone in that blessed meeting room." Vir groaned loudly, while Sophia glared at him, hard.

Who the hell mentions their mobile phones in such a manner? Of course, Vir Singhania does.

"Then, what the hell are you waiting for? Go and bring it." Sophia snapped finally.

"Ye-Yes ma'am. " Vir was quick to salute Sophia and leave the car."

He entered the building again and while waiting on the lift for that goddamned floor to arrive,he started typing frantically in his one lack of sixty four thousands worth of a Samsung fold phone, which he had removed from his pants pocket not long ago.

~~

Once the door opened, Vir put his mobile phone back and walked straight to the meeting room, where the people from earlier were still present.

His aura being as cold as the freezing glacier, his eyes staring at people, like the fire breathing dragon stare at its prey, before ripping it apart into pieces, his steps regal, his walk, measured, like the king, who owns it all.

This Vir was completely different from the person they had met an hour ago. The guy who came with that young, crazy girl. The girl, whose fun these people were making just a few seconds earlier. Just before the grand entry of Vir, just before the reign of the eerie silence.

"What-What do you want, Sir?" Jay asked, nervously but politely.

"Nothing. I just came here to inform you guys of something."Vir stated. His every word was chilling, devoid of any emotion and yet, it was screaming the danger is coming, it was warning them to run, to save their lives from him, from what's awaiting them.

Unfortunately, his eyes were staring them down, fixating them to the ground.

"And what would that be, good sir!"Siya asked gently, while trying her best to stand straight in front of Vir.

"Mathurs won't be working with you." Vir said word to word, making everyone stare at him in confusion and nervousness.

"Pardon!" Jay asked, seeking clarification.

" My time is more important than yours ever could be." Vir declared and then without sparing at the people who had invited their own doom,he left the room.

Well, he has a glaring girl to pacify. Of course he is pressed for time. If he made her wait any longer, who knows what his favourite cappuccino would be made of, next time. Can't risk it.

Only Sophia can make his favourite cappuccino in the way he loves the most. But that.. that depends on her mood. Only if she is happy, can he expect this legendary cappuccino to make his day, if not, then it would definitely break his day, in ways he can't even explain.

So, her happiness indeed matters alot. To such a point that he didn't even hesitate before bankrupting The Shrikants &Co., while blacklisting every individual present in the meeting from the market.

Forget about this country, even the foreigners won't hire them. That's the power of one phone call. Only if it could earn him, his favourite cappuccino, in the style he loves, after all this.

Naah, he has to lighten her mood. But how? Whatever he does ends up annoying her. How can he remove that glare of her?

Vir was busy wondering, as the car was heading towards The V International. He couldn't help but steal some glances in Sophia's direction occasionally, who was too busy to notice.

" Alright! A fun fact, the person who sighs ten times in a minute, ends up aging soon. This is what Google is saying." Vir was quick to show the google page in his one lack sixty four thousands worth of Samsung galaxy fold.

She just sighed again in reply.

"Just what dangerous thing are you thinking of now? "Vir couldn't help but ask.

" Ms. Lee won't be happy. She had prepared me thoroughly for this case."Sophia uttered in a low whisper.

"Well, what can we do when they double play us?" Vir tried to sympathize. This girl and her obsession with Ms.Lee.

"Well, that wasn't the problem. Ms.Lee and I went through it. We had strong points to win the deal." Sophia admitted.
