Soon, the call connected, and Master Barnes's voice came through.
"Hey! Is that you, Thompson! What's up? Why are you calling me? I'm busy right now!" Master Barnes shouted.
In the background, there were sounds of pots and pans clashing, evidently from the kitchen.
Right away, I relayed the situation with Vanguard.
"Damn it! What a bunch of bastards! They're simply inhuman!" Master Barnes exploded, "If it weren't for you, Thompson, there wouldn't be such a miraculous Fiend's Larder, and it wouldn't be so popular now."
"This recipe is yours, and we developed the dishes together with effort and dedication. As for Vanguard, they just opened a restaurant, but who the hell can't open a restaurant."
"And now that the place is booming, they're starting to burn bridges and want to steal your recipe, it's utterly inhuman!"
Master Barnes cursed angrily.
The clamor spread, and the sound of cooking gradually ceased.
