Then, he froze, his eyes suddenly widening, staring intently at me.
In his gaze, there was shock and disbelief.

Their expressions were like they'd seen a ghost.
This Fellow Thompson's cultivation is already so high, which is troubling enough, and now he can do alchemy too? Is there no justice? How are they supposed to live?
